We need leadership ON the pitch. The last real leader Barca had was Mascherano.
There is noone who is vocal and organises the team.
The inconsistency with this team and club are just maddening.
How many false dawns have we had over the last five to six years??

You on your period again

Good reaction after the match. He said the match overall was crap. It's not even about the mistakes of Kunde and Cassado.
So like last game, everyone kind of unfocused. Every team was like that today, but I expected more discipline from Flick.

No point in blaming someone, but he has to do something more than just say bad

I mean its good he acknowledge that the match was crap but is up yo him to change it and he still aint doing the right things the match situations demads. which is worrying. Off-side trap till i die wont get get us the title, need to be much more cynical.

Yeah, his approach seems to be to motivate the players to be very sharp and focused on each match so that he doesn't have to change the way he thinks football should be played.

It can go south pretty fast if the players don't respond well. We're not playing with 11 Raphinhas here . He is the only one in the entire team who you can count on to play at the same level be it Madrid, Bayern, or Celta.

In an ideal world, Flick could achieve big things at Barca. In the real world, jury is still out.

Teams will figure out the offside trap more and more. It requires the utmost alertness which is hard to keep 60 games a season.

This is a prophecy at this stage.
No team has 'figured it out' yet
The fact that 1-2 attempts will fail out of the so many we successfully try every game says nothing

The day a team will 'figure it out' will be the day when a team will manage to execute most or almost every through/over the top ball onside against us

PS: The last two games did not fail because 'teams figured out' the offside trap
We failed in the attack more than ever, and in the buildup

It isn't Lamine missing, it is missing a second proper winger.

It kills the entire system we have. No outlets for midfield for quick plays > doesn't force opponents to react enough > opponents in a position to play their pace tather than rush things > our press is less effective > our defense now gets exposed because it is build on the idea of high pressure and making the other team reactionary.

This is the problem with a rigged system, in a team that lacks depth.

That's a valid point.

Solution is not to buy Leao THO come summer

Pipe down. He gets praised when he delivers and criticized for the poor showing last 2 games without Lamine.

Don't be rabid. This isn't about Xavi. It's about us blowing away a 6 point lead to RM.

Tbf a minor blip at this point of the season isn't catastrophic but we need to get back to winning ways asap.
Seems like the players have gone on holiday after the classico. I can accept the loss at Sociedad but this was diabolical.

Villarato!
Alas, may 'the blip' continue
League race needs oxygen injection
RM being far too docile about defensive struggles meant they're almost primed to throw away the season, completely in denial about needing a CB and RB. But give the donkey a carrot on a stick and you may yet lead it to water

I agree that we need a fast left winger, as we have problems when one of the Lamine / Raphinha pairs does not play.

But fucking Leao is the worst choice. He is lazy without the ball, he is very unstable, top level coaches, for example Ancelloti, openly talk about this.

Let's see who is more idiot than the three at the end of the season.

Or Malvolio, who is hiding in his cave since Hansi got the team rolling?

There are levels to this
Yeah go on then

Because we aren’t blinded like the rest of you
