Adriano earns more than Isco and Varane in Real Madrid. Modric earns 4.5m while Vermaelen earns 3.5m.

Yeah and Arbeloa earns more than Sergi Roberto.

Bale earns more than Suarez/Neymar.

Ramos earns not far off double off Pique and Masch.

Busi earns less than Bale, Benzema and the same as Kroos and James.

Not even sure those figures are accurate but it is clear who is overpaying more there and it's not Barca.

You are right and wrong at the same time. We actually pay a lot of wages, just last year we lost all our CL money on player's wages and add-on's in their contracts. Now, every player in our starting 11 will earn more at different clubs but you see they will be the superstar at that club, like Suarez will be THE MAN at Arsenal, for example, so they can pay him enormous wages compared to his subpar teammates. Barca is made of 11 superstars we cannot pay everyone the wage the competitor can offer so we offer a little bit less that is still a big sum. The average Barca player's wage is actually very high compared to other teams.

Average wages are high and you just backed up my point - most players could earn more as star players elsewhere.

Point is not that Barca have a low wage bill overall.

I was talking about our starting 11. They all deserve what they are getting.

But, you're right there is mismanagement from our board in case of our sub's contracts. They probably didn't want to buy a new LB for 10-15 million so they just renewed Adriano's contract.
Btw, isn't there a clause in Ronaldo's contract that he's the highest payed football player in in the world or am I missing something?

We always pay super high wages though (and lengthy contracts! look at the 5 years we gave Verma!) and bosman players in particular get good wages as clubs dont pay a transfer fee.

If we sign him on a 2 year deal, its fine. I dont expect us to give him a 1 year deal with options of more years if certain conditions are met. If we go full retard with 5 year deals like we normally do like with Vermaelen, its just bad.

Let's say that you are right about 1st sentence and we always pay huge contract
So whoever is coming is gonna get a huge contract? but one is gonna be paid for his club and the other is coming for Bosman?still sound like a free transfer
I mean every Bosman transfer is considered free transfer b/c you don't pay the club regardless the wages .because all players get wage
The risk is still minimal for such deal tbh

You are assuming that every player will get the same wage regardless of whether they are bosman or not, and that every player has the same chance of success. Thats two very large assumptions. Bosman players will normally get a much more lucrative contract and there are huge question marks over the ability of Ben Arfa to be able to adapt to a new position, new system, new team and new country with the history and personality issues he has.

Would you support this deal if he gets a fat 5 year contract?

If he has discipline and attitude problems why would Lucho be interested in him when he sent Deulofeo out and won't be bringing back Halilovic?

Just rumours for now.

I am pretty sure St. Arda doesn't have disciplinary issues or should that be didn't. . .

This guy we will add depth to the team, because he can operate from both wings, is fast and skillful, and an upgrade to what we have on the bench now.
On some necessary occasions Messi can move into the midfield and have Neymar Suarez and Ben-Arfa upfront. This with Messi just behind them would be a killer attack!

It will be a cold day in hell when a Newcastle flop is able to compete with Neymar...

You're really running with this Newcastle flop shtick, huh? It was never his skill that let him down back then, solely a rotten mentality. People mature, and hopefully he has too, if Lucho actually wants him.
