Isaac Cuenca

Nice. He should get quite a bit of much needed playing time and be awesome by the time he goes back to Barca. Good move.

Top player. If he makes the right choices he'll have a good career. Not sure whether Barca will use him though other than on occasion of course.

He'll be a good player to add depth to the squad. Not sure if he'll be a starter any time soon though. Especially considering that we have so many wingers and that Deulofeu's coming soon (and possibly Neymar/another forward).

There is no need for Neymar! I don't know why everyone is obsessed with him. What is the point of Neymar when even if BOTH Villa and Alexis were sold; the squad would still have Messi, Pedro, Tello, Cuenca, and Deulofeu. Not to mention that Iniesta has been playing on the left wing a lot.

Don't forget Fabregas, who is a very competent winger. He belongs there more than Iniesta I'd say, since Iniesta is so much better in midfield.

Iniesta is amazing anywhere.

I just can't understand why people keep bringing up Neymar. He is shut down any time he plays against strong and aggressive defenders. Pedro is still young and has proven himself while Cuenca and Tello both show a lot of promise. I think people underrate them just because they maybe haven't seem that many of their matches. Let's not forget Deulofeu will surely get more first team appearances next season.

He's a lot better in midfield, there's no doubt. Just compare highlights from his matches. It is very obvious that Iniesta is not a natural winger though, and it would be asinine to play him there when we have talented (more) natural wingers like Tello, Deulofeu, Cuenca, Fabregas, even Alexis perhaps (I'm hoping)! Further more, a creative player like him gets stifled and isolated on the wing, unless he drifts to midfield a lot, which creates both defensive and offensive problems!

Disagree, much of his best work this season is roaming on the left side with Alba overlapping. Obviously he drifts in and out of the wing, switching with Cesc a lot but you can't say that he is at all stifled on the wing. In midfield, he is more involved in buildup play. On the wing, he's more involved in the attack. The only problem I see is that it takes away time from other exciting players such as Villa, Tello, Deulofeu, etc. But within 2 years when Iniesta is getting older and his acceleration decreases, he'll switch to midfield again.

I think you must be watching entirely different matches if you say that. :p I see him as very ineffectual winger, where many of his abilities simply go to waste. He would very much be taking the position away from true and better wingers. In midfield, he's the best player in the world though. It would be retarded for the management to favour Fabregas' abilities in midfield over his. Opinions differ though, so meh.
