Yes I agree, after watching his games at Ajax I completely take back what I said. He is playing AMAZING there, Wow. I am so impressed. He really looks like the best on that team already from what I can see lol, the experience he gets there will do wonders for him. When he comes back I think he could really be part of the next "superstar/elite" generation with Thiago, Delofeu, etc.

All of the members should watch more Ajax games. Their style is very entertaining and similar to Barcelona's and Cuenca is playing very well. He's very underrated for some reason but as a player he's got great talent. It's amazing to see how quickly he got back his match intensity and has become one of Ajax's best attacking players.

No, he had knee discomfort
Yep, he got a reaction on his knee after the 90 minutes against ADO Den Haag. Because of that he missed the midweek match against AZ, three days later against FC Twente and PEC Zwolle today.

He was on the trainings field this week but he wasn't fit enough to train with the rest of the group. They will see this week if he's ready for the next league match.

Cuenca's operated knee is inflammated and sore. He's getting back to bcn to see the doctor who performed surgery on him. From MD

Yeah, not a good sign...Especially considering his rehab was prolonged to begin with...Wonder if he'll need to go back under the knife or if it'll be a simple scope to drain the knee...Either way, was a smart move to loan him as there is still less pressure to rush his return...Just needs to get healthy

He returned to Ajax today. Frank de Boer said that there is no new damage, the knee is the same as it was after the operation. The fluid in his knee is almost gone and he will probably be ready to play again after this weekend's match against AZ.

Conclusion is that playing 70 minutes on thursday and 90 minutes on sunday was a little bit too much for his knee.

Just played his first minutes after coming back from his injury. Wasn't able watch it, but people are saying he had some ridiculously good moves to beat his man; can't wait to see gifs/vids. He's also 1 win away from becoming champions with Ajax, unfortunately he almost didn't play at all during his time there.
