Cesc is a world class player but he simply does not fit Barca's system well. He looks lost and clumsy most of the time and is invisible in big games.

Rakitic will be fine. He is physically stronger, sharper, better work rate and has variety to his game. Cesc may have more skill but Rakitic has the game required to succeed in OUR system. Cesc over 3 seasons has proven that he DOES NOT!
The club are doing the right thing by selling him. If he stayed another season his price would be down to 20 million. Might as well get rid of him now. Not ONE of our coaches has had 100% faith in Cesc and now Lucho wants to sell him. That tells the whole story.
If Rakitic is coming at 15m plus variables it wont be a disaster even if he becomes a good bench player (I doubt that will happen). Nowadays bench players cost that much.
