I remember Rakitic was often subbed off around 70-80th minute in Sevilla as well. He just gives his everything (and more) when he's on the field and Lucho also prefers to keep him as fresh as possible for the most important part of the season. If anything, subbing him off it's another proof (first one is that he's the most used player under Lucho based on his starts) to how important Lucho thinks Raki is for this team. It's better to play without him for the last 10-20 minutes in some games than risk an injury that would keep him out for a few weeks or even worse.

Actually, last time he cut his hair was followed by a period of poor form. Let's hope it doesn't happen again!

Guy must be exhausted after very game. Helps Busquets man the midfield, covers Alves when he attacks and makes Messi's life so much easier by covering him too.

I'm not sure if it's sustainable and that's why a drop off form is expected every now and again.
