If you pull out statistics they will say it's not important, if you pull out ratings they will say but did you watch the game and if you tell them that you did and he was good than you are Rakitic's fan. So why even bother? They won't change their opinion regardless of his performance. He is just not the type of player Barca fans love and that's it. I only hope that our midfield will be more attractive with De Jong and Arthur but people don't realize that those 2 need one physically strong midfielder to cover their back and Busi for sure can't do that alone anymore.

The thing that s mind boggling to me is the fact, that to some people on these forums, it s more appropriate to hate on player-s of the team they supposedly support, than to actually support them. It s called "being critical".
If you show only a hint of sympathy or even rationality towards any of the hated players you are labeled as a "fanboy" (+other idiotic labels) and that label is supposedly a bad one for a supporter of FC Barca and it s players.

Yeah, those are over the top comments. Don't get how people can be so invested.
