If we sell Rakitic...Who is good option...Don't tell names that are not mentioned at all.
I mean someone who is possible to sign , don't bring KDB or someone like that.

We don't need to sign anyone new anymore. We have FDJ coming, who as far as numbers go, is all the replacement for Raki we need. Not to mention Arthur and Alena will enter their 2nd season with the first team and they need more and more regular minutes to keep developing, especially Alena needs a big raise in his minutes compared to this season. Vidal can still be there for experience and fight, until Puig is ready for the first team in 2020 or 2021. Just promote Wague to back up Semedo, who also deserves to be made a full fledge starter (and that way he will become one, as long as Roberto isn't made to play RB at all anymore hopefully) and put Roberto back in midfield as the extra midfielder, either for CDM or CM, just like De Jong.

I think selling some seniors is more important than how good their replacements are. Team needs fresh blood, new hierarchy, stop giving players a free ride no matter how they play.

Theoretically it is sound but way more complicated.
This is where the mere result-orientedness comes into the picture.

Although I'm not aware of the exact figures but guess that attandence in the Camp Nou this season was lower than anytime in 8-10 years.
The reason is known and simple: the fans are not always only result-oriented, they want to see good, enjoyable, entertaining and attacking football that the players do with ease, just as it was 3-4 years ago.
The crowd is not merely interested in 1:0 or 2:1 wins - at least - at home, they want to see the style and type of game that Barca has been famous of for quite some time.

So there's the chapter when the present coach comes in, with his dull, said to be "conservative" but as a matter of fact pretty lifeless style and tactics, without the hint of creativity and fantasy.
This year RMadrid collapsed on itself with three different coaches, and even Zidan is struggling, regardless that they have brilliant individual players.
Thus winning La Liga was quite easy this year.

Does Barca have the individual players to return to the Barca style and approach? Definitely. Even the elderly ones are more or less capable, but the time has passed and selling some relics in the team doesn't mean anything if the coach stays.
The only feasible solution is to find a new coach, who can decide who are the old players he wants to keep for some time, but simultaneously finding fresh players to their places. Continuity...

If due to the "hierarchy" in the green room some remain untouchable, than the game is lost and all you will be seeing is like the present state of the team.
Thus Valverde MUST GO and there is no alternative to that.
He has to be fired (because seemingly he quite much likes his 23-24 million bucks and things just as they have been) so the board is the key at present.

The players we know, they have extremely high salaries and they will always be selfish enough to sticking to Valverde or anyone else for that matter, just because they are sticking to their own comfortable positions.

And there comes Messi's role.
With others mentioning that hundreds of times, I also think he has a tremendous weight in the forthcoming decisions. He is GOAT, he has been the sole saver of the team and EV, but most probably he is not a very analytic mind and his intellect can not cope with the present situation.

Valverde's fate will be decided at the Copa final. If the team wins, still anything can happen. If the result is not favorable, I see no pragmatic way the board can keep EV further.
But there is an alternate third possibility, something that happened many times in crisis-situations, namely that the players could force EV out by NOT winning the Copa, which anyway has little eight for them.
That's why I place the stress upon Messi, because he will be the key to all that. Not as captain who shouts and gesticulates during games (his friend does that for him), but someone who decides the fate of Barca football for the years to come.
It will not be a single Copa final, it will be the crest-line that will mark Barca football for years.

With this bad coach and key players above 30, there is no way to see something better next season. It will be inevitably worse, and that's why the new season should be started with a new coach and the very players he wants to build upon. Regardless who they are.

Not the seniors, as such, should go, but all players that will not mean a bright future under a new manager.
This is a time (and a good time) when the roots need to be touched, so definitely some will get hurt.
But in case the roots remain the same, there's no the slightest chance to see an enjoyable Barca for quite some years to come...

Agreed, good post BTW. Hopefully EV will be fired and we find a good coach who care about the filophosy of the club but I would't be surprised that he still is the coach next season.
