Bilbao: Shit midfield, Rakitic came on and we were still shit, he was shocking in that game.

Betis: Midfield was great without Rakitic.

Osasuna: Shit midfield first half, Roberto obviously had a fluke game last week (we have seen that he's shit in midfield before), Arthur came on midfield looked completely different, dynamic, great passing etc.


Conclusion: Arthur needs to play, Roberto is a squad player, we no longer need Rakitic (ESPECIALLY NOT FOR CL!!!)

No, but he's just as bad if not worse when he plays. You guys kept saying Arthur was shit to defend Rakitic and now you vultures have turned your attention to Frenkie de Jong.

That 2nd half midfield performance from Arthur-Busi-Frenkie was decent. Many times last season with Rakitic in the lineup we’d get dominated or play shit in midfield but still get the win usually due to Messi so it would mask the performance.

He will be a starter again if he doesn't get sold in the next few days. I think benching him was the board decision, not Valverde until the transfer window closes.
