Jack Wilshere

Thiago is more talented than Wilshere but Wilshere is a special player because of his attitude. His attitude on pitch is the best among all the young players we talk about. He takes more responsibility than Thiago or Isco IMO .Even at such young age he has elevated himself to the mindset of top class footballers .He is not just a talent anymore while Thiago or Isco still play like young talents .
If I have to select 1 out of Isco,Thiago and Wilshere for talent I will go with Thiago .He is versatile and talented and maybe has a higher ceiling than Wilshere .But he will have to learn to play like Xavi or Busquets play in central midfield . The attitude and mindset of a world class footballer is what I am talking about.

Cannot really say, all have great potential, Wilshere and Isco get more playing time so they probably a bit ahead in terms of development and experience but Thiago is learning from the best

Most people are bound to say Thiago on here, so it's pointless even trying to debate it. My personal opinion Thiago is not at Isco's level never mind Wilshere who is A LOT more talented than Isco, i give my reasons why I think Wilshere is ahead of Thiago, i can't remember which thread, it's not even a contest really.

Thiago is the most talented of the three but Wilshere and Isco are playing week in and week out and are star players for their respective teams. They have to be rated higher than Thiago until he proves himself on a regular basis, which I have no doubt he will.

I don't see the hype with Wilshere. Robbie even went so far to compare him to Fabregas from 07 / 08. And then people say Wilshere doesn't get overrated. Here's your reminder. Fabregas in 07 / 08 was consistently decisive for Arsenal, especially in big games. He scored goals against Manchester United, Liverpool, Spurs and Milan. He was already a 10+ goals and 20+ assists player at Wilshere's age and played every game in the 2008 Euros for Spain, even starting the final. He was the undisputed star player of a competitive team which finished only 4 points behind 1st placed Manchester United that season which had a Ballon d'Or winning Ronaldo breaking the Premier League goal scoring record in their team. He was what one could call a "special talent". How does Wilshere compare? He has 1 goal and 3 assists or something like that in his last 50 Premier League games. Now goals and assists isn't the whole story for midfield players but in which other area does Wilshere excell then where you can genuinely say "someone like Thiago doesn't come close"? Touch? Dribbling? Ball retention? Throughballs? Chance creation? Do Arsenal dominate the midfield zone through Wilshere? I see none of that. I see an above average skillful player for English standards who's showing some neat touches here and there for a non-competitive team trailing 19 points behind the league's leaders with a good fighting spirit with the extra hype for being English and playing for a global brand like Arsenal. Needless to say that Arsenal fans are among the worst when it comes to rating their own players. 5 games into the new season Cazorla was the new Iniesta and Arteta was supposed to get into the Spain starting XI ahead of Busquets whereas Vermaelen was the "Verminator". Shall we take a quick look at Arsenal Mania?

Every time their is a debate involving thiago, I always going back to a few years ago on a different forum and the debates involving a young iniesta, and I simply said back then, the fact that iniesta comes of the bench almost every game in a midfield that has deco and xavi and bar a few poor games that will come when a player is developing, damn near never looks out of place, and his team mates(dinho, eto,o ect) have complete confidence in passing him the ball no matter the situation tells you all you need to know. Because its much harder to shine in a room full of stars than in a room with few or none.

It's not necessarily true though. Some players look the business when surrounded by class players who have the movement and passing to make them look better than they are.
