Thanks for your service but won't miss you one bit. He felt like a liability every time he stepped on the pitch, always looked shaky and made me nervous whenever an opposing player was running at him. He should've really been gone gone last summer and we should've promoted Marlon, but oh well, hindsight is always 20/20.

Exactly. He always loved Barcelona and joined here for discount price. I also remember him in the cup final(last season perhaps?we got red card) when he blocked a kick jumping head first to a ball and saved us. How many players would do that for this team? He loved Barcelona and risked his health for it. I have to respect the guy, maybe he is not the best player in the world, but he would dive head first to block a kick. RESPECT! Worth the money in my mind.

We need more players with his attitude, not Turan.

He put in a shift to play for Barça but there is no shame in admitting that he wasn't good enough from the start. We should've signed him years before we actually signed him if we wanted a player of his mould, and not in the end of his career. His first season he was kinda alright but from then onwards, a liability as some people said. Too much money for too little performances. Time for the club and him to move on. All the best.

I seen a rumor that Zubi is interested in bring Mathieu back to France for Marseille.

MD says on their front Cover Sporting is Interested in him and will probably be let go because Valverde has Marlon to replace him. If I read the snippet correctly.
