What a load of rubbish.

He was talking about a situation that was pretty much common knowledge and was trying to play the issue down.

Would have been better keeping quiet and not dragging it up again but in reality it wont have any real impact.

It having impact or not is not the point, I take you don't know much about football management do you, having a player like mattieu who will go and blab about things like this to media undermines the morale of the team. They are supposed to be a united core, he can talk all the shit he wants when he is no longer a barca player but while he is a barca player he should be confidential about these things

Calm down and stop being a drama queen.

He gave pretty much no information that people did not already know and was making the point that it was an every day training occurence blown out of proportion by the press.

Mathieu was trying to protect the club not give gossip to the press. Big difference.

He didn't need to say anything, the press was beginning to forget due to our good form, now they have some more drama related shit to write about, thus once again shifting the focus from the football

He probably should have avoided the question as people have moved on but it is still nowhere near as big a deal as you make out.

Nothing he said was anything new.

What Mathieu said isn't the problem as the situation he described was not a big deal, but the mistake was to put it back on the general consciousness of the media just when people had started to forget about it. It's weird, doesn't Barca tell their players to keep quiet about these things? If they did but Mathieu disregarded it, he's not being careful or respectful enough towards the club. The media campaign against Barca is so systematic that even small stuff like this becomes a big thing. Funnily enough, Ronaldos karate moment in the league last weekend has barely been mentioned since...

Ofc they won't mention cr's aggression. That they want to forget. Their agenda is against Barça. And Mathieu surely didn't help... And this could be bad for him. The other players surely won't like his big mouth.
