The overall point is, for example, Pique was shit against Bayern 2 years ago due to poor tactics (?) yet no one including me questions that he has been good this season regardless of some blunders back then. Boateng is a great CB like everyone could see last summer in the WC final and one mistake which made him look silly makes no difference really, now does it? Make fun of him all you want if you like to but I'm just standing up for my player as would you.

Man that kinda thing can happen to anyone, it doesn't really say much about his ability, especially when Messi is the guy that did it to you. I mean, Pele floored Beckenbauer.

I think Boateng is a very good CB, everyone has low points in their careers, Boateng just got one now.

No one questioned his ability. We all know he is a top notch defender. The reason why he is made fun of is Messi humiliated one of the very best CBs in the world at the moment. We are just applauding Messi's genius.
