Fantasy world where Busquets brings a lot to the attack.

He slows down ball through midfield due to his lack of physicality and is about the worst DM in the world at any top team while trying to protect the defence.

Some nice touches and passes but is not helping team progress ball through midfield nearly as much as made out and teams are letting him get on ball from back often.

Best thing Busi can do for Barca is leave but he wont.

Busquets has been horrible for five years now. He has been a major factor in our Cl humiliations. The opposition either just go through him or blow past him. That leaves an already shitty defense severely exposed.

Looks like Jordi Cruyff is coming. I still think he's Laporta's "coach in the waiting" if Koeman gets sacked this season.

No, both Sport and MD reporting announcement is imminent.

In addition to reinforcing the area of the technical secretariat, currently made up by Ramon Planes and Mateu Alemany, as football director, the intention of the Bar?a president is that Jordi can act as an interlocutor with the coach of the first team to leave the 'cruyffista' stamp on the staff, as well as being their advisor in matters of reinforcements, both for the staff and for the bench.

Yeah, not fan of signing someone just because their name and let's face it, it's the only reason they are signing him.

Official now.

Probably better to further discuss this hiring in his thread. :)

I just hope Laporta isn't getting too involved in the first team matters with reports of him requesting certain tactical approaches, and using Jordi Cruyff as a middle man between Laporta and the coach to keep the latter in check.
