Pedri has flairs. His days at Las Palmas, youth NT, first few months at Barca or even in Euro with Spain show it. He doesn't lack of 1v1 ability, just he doesn't try to attempt it often at Barca except when he first arrived here. His game vs Juventus is a Iniesta/Zidane dribble style. Or this
https://youtu.be/k4DMn9UOjtY

He now plays in a role that doesn't require his flair, and in a team like you describe.

OK, man. We have different definitions then. By flair, I see it like the thing Neymar, Ronaldinho, and to a lesser extend Depay have. Ability to take the ball in a bad (or neutral at best) position, beat 1-2 or even 3 players and destabilize an opponent who is set firmly in good defensive positions. It's a joker card some players have and use it to gain something on the pitch in a purely individual way. These players are gold for plain, conservative managers. Without them, these managers don't have the tactical quality to create many chances.

Flair is Depay's goal vs Getafe. Or the trick he did vs Sociedad.

Those players are trickster. Tend to hold the ball and try to do some spectacular stuffs.

They are, for some select few managers. For the vision-limited ones, they are gold and the handiest way of creating superiority. Some "tricksters" as you say can be integrated into better teams and given better tactics too. Some indeed are irredeemable and will impact a team too much.

Those shitty short Twitter-quotes are taken out of context:

Laporta in his TV3 - interview yesterday:

Neymar: Neymar offered to return in April. He was ready to do whatever was necessary and was eager to come back. They had talks and club was also interested in his return. At that time, Barca interpreted the FFP of La Liga differently, otherwise they would not have spoken to him. In retrospect it was impossible.

Messi: Laporta confirmed again that Messi simply could not be registered. La Liga clearly presented Barcelona with a decision and put it under pressure. Accept CVC deal or no flexibility in registrations. This was communicated to Barca on August 5th and from that point onwards, a renewal of Messi's contract was impossible. With Messi everything was clear. The contract was negotiated.

Due diligence: Irregularities, possible criminal offenses and cases of corruption were found during due diligence. They are currently discussing how to proceed in order to hold the relevant people accountable.

LAPORTA THIS IS REALLY BAD!

.@FApor_elmundo: "To those who ask about the Ansu Fati situation, as to whether he was on the market this summer or not. They should ask Jorge Mendes and the player's father, rather. They might hear an unpleasant surprise."

.@FApor_elmundo: "Everyone knows that his representatives were in contact with various clubs."

STOP FUCKING LYING

Confirms he kicked out Messi lol

Laporta: "Bar?a have now lost Messi and Griezmann? I think that there is hope. I think that the fans understand that these difficult decisions had to be made for the good of the club. We had to do it."

Next season: midfield signings...

An experienced and creative no.8, b2b midfielder, a DM, two CBs, and a right winger. With that and we're back.

Back where?

RB is utter shite. LB, we have no cover or prospect for Alba replacement. Attack is all over the place if you ask me. No wings and Depay has no defined role yet, will he play ST?

Balde is the LB prospect. Still very young though.

Attack is solid once the injured players are back. Still should sign a CF after binning off both Braith and Luuk de Jong.

Balde as LB prospect is like saying X Barca B youngster brought in to fill in the numbers is a prospect.

You casually omitted RB.

Your solid attack is just a pipe dream based on wishful thinking. Fati and Dembele are either half dead or half out the door(based on current rumors and contractual situation). First off they have to be good players individually and then they have to develop playing chemistry with Depay.

Nah, it is you being ignorant and pessimistic. Balde is a huge talent, and can't make any conclusions about Fati yet. Aguero will also be back to score some goals.

Javier Tebas (La Liga President): "Messi's departure could have been avoided." [sport]

This is bad bros, he might take legal action on Laporta for sabotage of league earnings if Barto follows through with his threat
