Extremely concerning if true. Since the accounts of the B is both independent of the salary cap, and possibly running at a profit after the Jutgla sale, and % from Monchu sale. So it is a model which shouldn't have financial retraction.

Most of this group of players were never going to get renewed anyways though.

The only ones who you can argue to renew are Comas aMingo. Both stagnated this season are coming to the end of their tenure and will have bigger offers than staying another year at B, while what comes from behind has higher potential (Riad and Almeida).

Jandro is the same, I've read Marc Casado (18) has renewed (along with 6 other Juvenil players + Aleix Garrido whose contract is up 2023). So we are just replacing the old gen with the new gen + Emre Demir.

Papers likely rolling everything into one shitstorm (MD who are closer to this board are 9/10 times correcting the BS of Sport a day later).

If they thought any of those players had a future they would be renewed.

Doubt likes of Almeida gets much B team time. Too small for a CB and poor defensively from what have seen of him.

Those guys were already on their way out of the B team.

It was reported like a month ago Comas decided to not renew because he didn't want to stay with the B team and didn't want to be a fringe First team player and had options elsewhere for first-team football.

The likes of Orellana, Vega, Peque, Jaime, Polo were never going to get into the first team as we already have better players in their positions. Mingo's development stalled and Igor Gomes has been injured all year. Just the usual B team clear out as they simply weren't good enough as prospects in the end.

Club decided against the extension option on Ramos Mingo. He is one of the CBs I liked in the B a year or so back. Marmol stole his left sided center place and never looked back.

From what I understand, Mingo had a large contract by B team standards (hello Bartomeu) which possibly played a factor in not extending).

During Koeman's first year, he and his staff liked Mingo a lot and he was more than likely going to get some first-team minutes but got injured and Mingueza ended up swooping in and filling the void.

Kinda funny how an injury at the wrong time stifled any chance he got with the first team. But going by his performances with the B team, even if he got the chance he wouldn't have lasted long anyway.

It is ridiculous for socios to vote on this when dont even know what voting for.

The fact that little information is given would probably lean towards idea it is not good for the long term and dont want it discussed in too much depth.

This is the type of shit that leads to bad decision being made and lack of transparency.. tell socios it is only way they can keep control of club and play on emotional debate rather than one of facts and figures.

The terms should have been layed out and both sides put forward their case... for and against.
