That's not how it works at all. Look at any case of a huge company going bust ( WeWork, MoviePass ) and you will see that multinational corporations invested multi millions along the way, when those companies were already practically bust behind the scenes.

More often than not it takes one employee, who needs to be fairly high up, who isn't willing to turn a blind eye to things and willing to put in out of hours work , and put his own position at risk within the organisation.
