Barca have messed up historically
As things stand, your player can go to play somewhere else and will be well within his means to seek compensation for early breach of contract for your incompetence

Decent day this

He's a Cule who loves the club and came through the Cantera.

As a Madrid fan, I wouldn't expect you to understand.

Dodgy car park deal / state funding, to pay for the next Brazilian/French mercenary, who would sell you out in a second under the same circumstance.

Olmo will stay loyal to the club.

Hala Madrid y Espana ...... y Brazil y France. ( Chuckle )

To be honest I don't even understand why they agreed to such a clause. If he demanded a clause like that then maybe not sign him.

See you reason this way because your squad is made up mostly of foreign mongrels who don't even hold allegiance to their countries never mind club. So naturally you reason this way.

Barca are different though as they are made up by many home grown guys who do have loyalty. Even too much loyalty to be honest as they were the ones who brought most glory to Espanya who in turn hate them.

It's a bizzare story.

Mark my words Olmo will work out something with the club.

Cartwheeling for a chance of a player maybe mercifully not bending you over a barrel even if have every right to and more than likely are now being begged not to
Some fans are something
Should do you like a cheapest roadside hoe TBH

Dont think he did himself, more like a safety net from his agent considering the history of barely scraping last 4-5 registration windows
And Laporta probably agreed as thought 'ah we'll work it out'
Played out fantastically considering circumstances

Is it sure that the clause is even real? Was the contract leaked?

What is the clause? He is a free agent now and he's training with us even though he's not our player anymore?

Calma we all know what’s coming

.@GxlDePaulinho: "If Dani Olmo and Pau Victor can't be registered, Barcelona would still go back to the 1:1 rule and be able to sign players. There is a player who finishes his contract this year... Neymar Jr."

Valverde speaks

Valverde on Olmo's situation at Barcelona:

"I don't know all the details of this. I'm just a coach, and coaches don't get involved in these things much, but we assume that there are people responsible for assessing the validity of this and making the final decision.

"Besides, I am a former Barcelona player and former coach there, so I don't want to talk too much about this subject. I just hope that everything is resolved in a good way."

Well if the 31 of December deadline is the issue here, I'm on LaLiga's side. Why should they make an exception? The deadline is publicly known, Laporta knew he had to register Olmo until that day for months now. Holiday excuse is just weak. That's always the case if you do things at the very end, sometimes it'll fail. Teams couldn't transfer players because their fax machine was broken and time ran out. I never understand doing these things in the last minute.

Laporta has to answer for it and need to take responsibility with all its consequences. But resigning now is not one of them, it's just stupid activism that doesn't help the club at all. It just pleases the mob.
First of all, he needs to suck Olmo's dick, so he doesn't use his clause. I know that loan is not possible, because loan players need to be registered first, but there should always be the option for him to sign a new contract at a new club for half a year with a clause to continue at barca in the summer. There will be enough clubs ready and willing for it, maybe even Leipzig watching them struggeling now in the Bundesliga would take him back happily for the remainder of the season.
If Olmo's dream is barca, he won't give it up for half a year.

Then in the summer, a conclusion must be drawn about Laporta's work and the socios need to decide if they want to do a vote of no confidence or let Laporta answer for it differently.
