Fuck it, break the bank for Johnny if Mascherano leaves. I know he wasn't impressive lately but his ceiling is sky high and with right guidance he could be gold.
Mascherano was reckless and had brainfarts when he was younger too.

Even if he is talented enough to become a barca starter he needs time to adjust to the league and stuff. So we can't sell Masch unless we sign our long lost target Thiago Silva. Which won't happen for sure. Stones will cost a lot too. We also need to sign a full back and forward. Contract extensions are also on the way. Don't know if we will have that much money , I would prefer barca buy a liga defender

The difference between Masch and Stones (aside from playstyle of course) is heart. Many Everton fans are questioning Stones on this particular area, and I doubt that's a trait you suddenly develop.

Can't understand people who say Laporte is expensive and overrated, but want Stones. I really can't.

I like Stones and think he has everything to be one of top CBs in the world but you cant deny he had a lot of bad moments last season. Was class in some games poor in others.

Dont think Martinez was good for him in the end. He indulged him too much and appeared to tell him to try and play the same way and take risks and he did it too much.

Still think he can be a top player and better than a lot of names linked but last season he wasnt good enough for Barca on the whole.

He would suit Barca. In possession he really is incredibly good and his defending isn't that bad. Every player at Everton struggled last year and frankly the mistakes Stones made were blown out of proportion. It didn't help that we could neither control possession or defend as a team.

Hopefully Deulofeu's buyback will be part of the deal if it happens.

We aren't even interested in him, only English media constantly linking him to us to make him look like a decent footballer. If he leaves Everton it will be for an English club.

If we are willing to pay 50m for overrated Stones, I'd rather we buy CB who is used to Liga, many better options than Stones like Laporte and Gimenez.

How is tarin and quintilla coming along could we give them a shot

Shot for what? I mean if a Barca B player didn't get any minutes with 1st team you can bet we aren't gonna count him next year to replace any player
Tarin is good, has the potential for 1st team but still need a season or two b4 being counted for 1st team.he trained once or twice with 1st team and it wa solely duo to being suspended with B team.
Quintillà so far is underwhelming.only 8 games with B team. Wasn't even called for the squad more than being starter. Also suffered a couple of injuries too.If he doesn't step up next year he is probably gonna be shown the door
