I think two hyperattacking backs in one line-up is too much considering our poor defence. We used to have only Dani as attacking back cause Abi is more conservative and since I think Alba is considerably better than Dani I believe Dani should be replaced in the team by a more defensive right back. I don't consider selling him but definitely not playing the both in crucial games.

And the criticism on Alba I don't get, I actually think he's probably our best signing in years and he's pretty consistent and also one of the best defenders on the team.

Like I said before, I think 2 attacking FBs can work once we get the new CB, if we bring the pressing back as well. After all, Bayern play with 2 attacking FBs and have an amazing defensive record. I don't really follow Bayern, but I'm guessing that's because the center of their defense is strong with Dante in it, and because of pressing.

Alba is a beast, our best signing in ages. He didn't have a single bad game up until maybe a few weeks ago. He's absolutely phenomenal.

Seems to be the general reaction among current Barça fans.

Alba reminds me a bit of Abidal in his first year with us, when he had an occasional blunder here and there, but as the campaign went on he became rock solid in the defensive half. Alba can only improve on what he already offers, and I can't wait till we'll see the real Jordi dicking forward for fun.
