...he was awesome! Very reserved and conservative performance, but extremely diciplined. This just goes to show, yet again, that it's mostly about tactics, and not the player himself. Very mature performance.

Haha true, he did do that 2-3 times - I think he was nervous and played it safe, in retrospective I'm happy he didn't try anything risky or 'spectacular'.

He finally understood that it's not possible for both of him and Dani to attack. He defended well. Good match. Hope his injury isn't that serious.

After arriving at the Ciudad Deportiva medical tests were carried out on Jordi Alba, that confirm that he has a hamstring strain in his right leg. His recovery will decide his availability for the next game, which will be on Saturday in Anoeta against Real Sociedad (8.00PM CET).
The team arrived around Midday from Manchester, following their win on Tuesday at Manchester City (0-2), in the first leg of the last 16 of the Champions League.
