Improvin' Perfection!!
I think hes right when he said that FIFA awards are manipulated yesterday and his votes were changed for marketing Reason. There are some controvisial decision over the last years which are not understandable

- Messi Ballon Dor Win 2010
- Ronaldo Ballon Dor 2013
- Messi best Player in World Cup 2014
- David Luiz and Thiago Silva in World XI
- Dani Alves and Iniesta after having horror Season still in World XI

Hopefully FBI cleans all the curruption inside the dam Fifa

Indeed Messi d'Or in 2010 is one of the most deserved in history. Yes, Xavi and The Don were great in a World cup winning side- which is simply testament yo how shockingly good \leo was that year that he won it.

Xavi should have won it that year
If Leo's Ballon d'Or from 2010 is up for grabs... I think Sneijder deserved the award more than Xaviesta

But since the award is made an inner-beauty pageant anyway... Don't think FIFA had to interfere in this regards. Messi probably won it on his merit

Cant see why the invinsibles should be remember much more than Mourinhos previous Chelsea sides. Yeah, the invinsibles did go unbeaten over a season, however, Chelsea got the record for most point and least conceded. Unbeaten run is overrated. Chelsea 2004-2006 was a very good side, every bit as good as the invinsibles overall. Inter is much the same as his early Chelsea-side as well, though their success was shortlived.

Agreed. The "Invincibles" might as well go down as the most overrated and overhyped side of the last 15 years or so. If they were so invincible, why couldn't they win more than just the Premier League? Especially in a CL season where Porto and Monaco were the finalists. Quite ironic that they were even knocked out by an English team.

Inter's Treble team should definitely be rated a lot higher than Arsenal of 2004. Especially since they were actually good at defending and a lot less reliant on luck than Di Matteo's Chelsea. Proper defending requires a lot of skill as well and is an art in itself as well.

The invinsibles played some great football and won PL, a quality team. But i rate Chelski 2004-2006 and a few United seasons(mainly 07/08 a bit higher). Though im sure there are others who have a better memory of Arsenal in the past than me.

Yeah, but in the end they are an underachieving team considering they are regarded as the best Premier League team of the last 20 years (ahead of United 07/08, United 98/99 and Chelsea 04-06) yet achieved way less than those three. Some even claim they could go toe to toe against prime Barca.

Outside of the great football, the main reason for the hype is the unbeaten run. Cool achievement, but doesnt mean much and imo its overrated. As i said, Chelski got more points with 1 or two losses, i would rather take that.

I'm very nostalgic of the invincibles, especially since my all time favourite player Henry starred in it. I really liked their football, a lot like us this season with beautiful players like Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Vieira and soldiers like Ljungberg, Kanu, Wiltord, Campbell and several young players.
Sure they underachieved in Europe but it was a very fun team that was really complete and lit up the epl back then, it was great too watch.
Maybe other teams achieved better results but Arsenal of that era stuck with me more than any epl team.

Its same with Liverpool last season for example, I like the fairy tale route they took almost winning the epl, beautifull plays from SSS with Gerrard leading them, im not going to remember Chelsea or City from back then, dont make an impact to me.

They had real flair and attacking power and team had quality all over, but they didnt achieve as much as their reputation implies. United and Chelsea achieved more over longer periods. It was a great team, but they get too much hype because of their unbeaten run in the league. Unbeaten run hardly mean much, really.

I don't get why Juventus's undefeated league season in 11/12 never gets mentioned in the vein of Arsenal's.

Good point. Probably because (a) EPL fanbois - going unbeaten in a league where "everyone can win" is more worth than in other leagues that are "two teams leagues at best" - and (b) it's Arsenal's biggest achievement of the last 15 years or more. Considering they went trophyless for nearly 10 years this was the only thing their fans could hold on to. Also, Arsenal are pretty much the hipster's favorite team since they are basically the best team in the world that doesn't win (significant) trophies.

Because its Serie A, just as no one cares if Bayern should go unbeaten in Bundesliga next season.

Serie A has handily outperformed both the EPL and BuLi this season. The past 3 years, there has been a considerable improvement for Italian clubs in Europe.

I always think its pretty impressive to go unbeaten, but it does add greatly to their mythical status, thats true.
