Tough to say, he still has not been knocked out of Europe from the round of 16 and made it further in the Copa del Rey. His team is also one of the youngest in Europe so that has its disadvantages. The game was thrown away because of a tactical error, kudos to Almeria to take full advantage.

What he is doing in the league is unparralled by another top team in any other league. 9 points lost from 19 game is only second to Barcelona who lost 5 points from 19 games. You said it yourself, his team is yet still not as talented as Barcelona's so what is the point you are trying to make?
