Just gave another of his infamous interviews.

I loved this part, about the ban:

"¿Si yo soy responsable? Todos somos responsables. Creo que el culpable de todo es la FIFA y su normativa"
"If I'm responsible? We're all responsible. I think the blame for it all it's Fifa's and its law"

I should rob a bank tomorrow and then blame the bank and the law for not allowing me to rob them.

Former AC Milan drector Ariedo Braida (68) will join Barcelona as part of a 4-men sports commission that will replace Zubizarreta. [md]

The new sports commission, with Arieda Braida as "international sports director", will be in place until the elections in July. [md]

Besides Braida, the 4-men commission will consist of vice president Mestre, board member Bordas and former player and coach Rexach. [md]

Makes sense I suppose. Wasn't Rexach the one that was mainly responsible for bringing Messi to the club.

LOL, an almost 70 year old italian who doesn't know anything about the club, and the jack of all trades Rexach.

Seriously, what is Bartos plan? Getting all the old socis votes by building a retirement home?

Ridiculous!

Buahahah Barto is clueless. A 70 year old Italian fossil is going to bring new and modern ideas to the Club..... :rofl1:

Barto's selling point for his candidacy:

- Roura director of youth development.
- 70 year old mummy Braida as sporting director.

Don't know about you guys, but I'm SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why all this hate for Roura? People dont have the first idea about his capabilities.

The arrogance on here has no boundaries calling a 68 year old a 'fossil' that has no idea.

Get a grip and see where season takes Barca.

And you do know about Roura capabilities? Running all of la masia, dealing with the b players renewals, etc? Easy task, I'm sure he's up for it :pep:
He started as a video-man/scout for Pep, later showed us all his "skills" as 1st team coach, and yet somehow he is qualified for the job. Alright.

Braida's been out of the game for a while. And from what I'm reading about him, he's stuck in the 80's, with his way of running things.

Apparently the Italian was general manager of the 80s and 90s Milan sides as well as Technical Director of the early 2000s sides. Also, calling him a fossil, really? That's ageism at its finest.

Not saying I know of Rouras capabilities but if Pep and Tito trusted him enough then I am happy they know far more than what it takes than any of us.

Braida - no ones knows anything about him but to just write him off as he is 68 and foreign is absurd when people dont even have the slightest idea what role he would be getting asked to carry out.
