Mata is a brilliant player.

He'll replace Cronaldo at Real next season.

Mata doesn't have the same star quality as Ronaldo - they'd go out and spunk £60m on Neymar, and ironically for the lack of great players they'd produced in recent years, Mata's one they let slip through their fingers. Had they kept him they wouldn't have needed to spend so much on Kaka. Ozil was one of the bargains of the past decade though.

If he does he's an idiot. With all due respect to Barcelona, as great a side as they are, no one is going to unsurp Messi from that side, and Neymar is far too talented to go and be in his shadow. At Real, without Ronaldo, he'd be the central figure of that side, their style of play would also suit him right to the ground.

Busquets is a better holding mid than Alonso, whereas Alonso's more of a deep lying playmaker - best passer of the ball in Europe too might I add. Fabregas aint better than Mata, he's also been horribly mis-used at Barcelona.

Fabregas is better than Mata. He's found his role this season and is one of the most vital players on our team. Plus in the NT he would play much better with iniesta, xavi, and busi than Mata would because he has a great connection with them and they all are very fluent at tiki taka.

Fabregas is not better than Mata, he's of similar quality though. I like him, despite being a complete fanny at Arsenal, he oozed class, and he started off very well at Barcelona linking up with Messi, but he's been absoloutely no way NEAR the same player he was for Arsenal. He's better suited to central midfield, unfortunately for him, that's where Xavi plays, and to a lesser extent Iniesta.

i think your confusing them here. busquets is one of the best passers, xabi is the one being misused at rm, and fabregas is the guy who is better than mata.
