Of course he doesn't regret it. It's not like he thought United would play for the title once they'd sign him.
Looks like Mata was signed to atone for the poor media skills of Moyes-http://blogs.grada360.com/juanmata/2014/02/10/cuando-las-cosas-no-salen-mas-unidos-que-nunca/....

Lol he's complained about being constantly played out wide. Poor guy, he's not having a very happy season on a personal level and will likely miss the World Cup at this rate.

LOL yeah...... In the short term, this was really a lose-lose signing for Man U and him.

Being the best player in this man utd is hardly that big of an achievement

United have some great players, mixed in with some average/not good enough players. We've also suffered from injuries this season to such an extent, that the game against West Brom the weekend just gone was the first time after the first 3 or 4 games when we've been able to play our strongest team. Not to mention we have a new manager, new backroom staff which after 26 years was always going to be a huge upheaval.

Mata has slotted in really well, and after everything that has been said about Fellaini, he has had two good games in a row for us, and is hopefully the sign of things to come. It's been a bad season for us, but with some of the players we still have, plus the financial backing we have, some of you lot on here might have some serious egg on your faces next season.

Mata has only been with us a couple of months, he could have moved to Bayern and would still probably have not been made it back into the Spanish team yet with the players they have.

I get the feeling though that you aren't the type of poster to have a reasonable discussion with, so I'll leave my contribution to this thread at that.

We won't have egg on our faces as long as the Moyesiah is your manager.

Wasn't a stupid move by us to sell him tbh, he just didn't fit any more and we haven't missed him at all. The problems we've had against certain teams comes more down to a lack of a good striker than say, missing Mata.

Well, with RVP's injury Mata will be played centrally now, let's see how he goes. I mean, he doesn't exactly have super quality all round him, but he should do better.
