Juan Manuel Mata

Well, with RVP's injury Mata will be played centrally now, let's see how he goes. I mean, he doesn't exactly have super quality all round him, but he should do better.
Played well at CAM and with Kagawa playing his linking counterpart on the left. It's not instant success football, but obviously as Barcelona followers, we know that this style of play from these two is better than the hoofball that Moyes had them play prior to the Olympiakos win LOL even if the results don't show it. Though honestly, I think Kagawa should still play at CAM over Mata, but Mata does have the silkier touch.

The next couple weeks are huge for him with Rooney's suspension. If he puts in good performances against the likes of Everton and Chelsea it will be hard to drop him. It's still hard to imagine Van Gaal favouring him over RVP or Rooney but he might as well give him something to think about.

He has consistently scored goals/assists so I don't see what more he can do
