It's clearly true. The problem is just that I know the player since his Spanish youth days whereas you United fans know the Sky Sports hype of the player and his freekick goal against De Gea from a couple seasons back. But now that he's joined you, you are dumbfounded why he isn't anything special and looks surplus to requirements so you're adamant that it's just the "system" that is failing him from reaching his Iniesta level potential or that "no one is playing with an AM these days". Yet all you needed to do was go a couple pages back in this thread and read how I was pissing myself that United would pay almost 50 million Euros for Mata at a time when his hype was SKY high.

Van Gaal has benched him for 6 games straight apparently; one does not need a bigger message than that. I think Juan will be back in Spain next year; probably Atletico? Or does anyone think Pep might take a punt and bring him to Germany?
