Jürgen Klopp

Barca should bend over backwards to get him. He's one of the greatest managers of all time and it's not often they become available.

If that means allowing him to have a sabbatical to secure him for the season after then so be it.

So, Klopp just announced he'll leave us at the end of the season. I am a bit emotional right now but it is what it is.

Immediately, Klopp becomes the best manager available in the market.

Would you take him at Barca? Why so?

Klopp and Barcelona don't match in terms of philosophy and style of play. He lacks the "Barca DNA".

Klopp isn't the most competitive and ambitious. He's very relaxed and that's why his personality suits underdogs the best. Barca will never be underdogs.

Klopp can't speak a word of Spanish/Catalan and the dumb Spanish media will give him stick coz of that.

Thoughts?

Klopp or Gundogan for next Barca coach.

Laporta loves a German coach by all accounts.

Gundo was highly thought of at City and was said to be the one who Pep followed on changes with Stones role last season etc.

That is an awful summary of what Klopp is about.

Look, you don't achieve what Klopp has without being competitive or ambitious.

But I mean, at the highest echelon of managers like Pep, Mou, Fergie, etc.....Klopp isn't as insanely competitive, desperate for individual success and as much of a "serial winner" as them.

He's a lil detached from all of that and doesn't mind if people don't consider him the best. His personality suits clubs which are underdogs and the fans can get behind him.

Posters here know how much I love and rate Klopp.

He's pound for pound the best manager itw and one of the greatest ever. Always said so. Poor attempt by you as usual.

He is as competitive and hyper as any coach out there.

To make out he is relaxed and not as competitive as others is miles off it and ignoring why he is leaving really.

He joined Liverpool (a historically great team) when they were mediocre.

Current Barca also are struggling, likely win nothing this season.
