Kevin-Prince Boateng

So a supposed "Alpha" that Valverde cult members thought EV would end up playing but didnt know Mr Safe would still stick to Suarez and Messi for his life. Yeah a new gym partner for Vidal and Messi983 goes bonkers over them. Man's already gotten over Gomes, and i thought he would start supporting Everton.

So when are we signing another pseudo backup for our current pseudo backup with blown out knees?

Which pensioner will be the next to win a paid holiday in Barcelona from our charitable board.

Stay tuned to find out.

(Insert shitty soap opera suspense music)

yes , he is at fault because valverde choses to play suarez 3 games in a week instead of him.

Can't really blame Ernie for playing Suarez when the alternative is Kevin-Prince Boateng tbh. Better blame whoever thought Valverde would use him and loaned him in the first place.

Boateng was never the best option. He is not the guy to start a game as a striker replacing Suarez. That is the biggest problem with his signing.

BUT, his best use will be when we need to get a goal and change the dynamics of the attack. The last 10/25 minutes of a game in addition to Suarez as a support striker. He has a good first touch, strong hold up play and can lay off the ball well. Someone to lesson the burden of a lone forward and give an aerial threat in-play for Alba, Roberto, Malcom, Coutinho, Dembele to target with crosses.

For those circumstances, and the Bilbao game is one of the first game options we could of looked at that outlet, then Boateng will be OK.

The type of option the club should always have. Rebic went for 2m to Frankfurt in the summer. No he is not World Class, but we would be wise to give the squad striker options like that with players in the 23-27 age group.

Someone who is willing to give it a go as an alternative option for a few seasons, who has some ambition, and his potential is almost maxed out so that he doesn't stagnate if he does not play too much. After a season or two, if they are not happy with the role then move on and rinse and repeat.

But really, having Messi in the squad has allowed the bad planification of overall squad depth to persist for far too long.

Just give him some minutes at the hour mark, spare suarez a bit. Actually id like to see how this guy plays besides dembele and messi.

There are still more than 3 months of the season ahead, he'll get a chance. I expect him to play, possibly even start against Valladolid. Would like to see him alongside Dembele and Messi.

I think he would also play more so far but injuries (Dembele, Messi) and Coutinho's bad form prevented that. We couldn't really play Boateng up front with out of form Cou and Malcom who rarely plays as well.

please tell me you believe Boateng wouldn't have been better than Suarez last game , even if by 5%.

On his of days , if he doesn't score , Suarez seriously looks like a guy who doesn't know how to play football or the basics of it.

And yeah , Ernie is known of making really dumb decisions . Him not resting Suarez isn't because Boateng would be shit.

Last game would have been perfect moment for Boateng to play at least 1 half. Doesn't matter if he wouldn't have scored but Suarez would get some rest.

Now you have Suarez complaining in the media that people are fatigue because of the busy schedule. Fucking lol.

Would've been hard to be worse than Suarez lol so can't argue about that.

Thing is Boateng isn't even a real striker, i would rather have some experienced number 9 that will at least score some headers or tap-ins instead of hoping playing striker for half a season is enough to play for barca. Boateng is fine to sub Suarez when we're leading but i don't think Ernie would ever trust him enough to start a remotely important game or replace Suarez in a close game when he's playing bad again.

Sooo we bought a backup for Suarez, who has knee problems and the backup also has knee problems.

Perfect backup. GOAT scouting.

I said this before, the club's money is mismanaged but again it's not a big deal with KPB, he is on loan and will leave in 3 months.
