24k per game? That is a joke. What about French domestic TV viewership? What justifies that new TV deal?

Lol what's so shocking about that to you? Have you ever seen any of the grounds of teams from lower table Primera and into Segunda? Ipurua (Eibar) and El Alcoraz (Huesca) are 5 to 7k. Butarque (Leganes) is 11K. Montilivi (Girona) is 13K. The likes of Getafe, Rayo, Valladolid, Levante, Granada, Almeria, Alaves and even Villarreal or RSSS are 15-30K.
The four largest grounds outside top3 are Benito Villamarin (60K), San Mames (53K), Mestalla (50K) and Pizjuan (44K).

And any of them are hardly ever sold out. If anything, top sides are skewing the attendance figures up.

The only shocking thing is the economic divide between UK-Germany and the rest. The efficiency in presentation and organisation and investment they're able to attract as a result is just off the charts.

You're only projecting your insecurities. I don't have to wish upon anything because both Neymar and Mbappé play for PSG and are signed to long term contracts. What you should concern yourself about is who La Liga will fall back upon from a marketing standpoint once Messi's star begins to fade.

Insecurities? Pointing out the FACT that Ligue 1 will be an incubator league shows that I am insecure? To a certain degree La Liga is an incubator league too as the best La Liga talents go to Real Madrid or us, and some go to EPL. The best Ligue 1 talents will not be satisfied with playing for PSG unless he is a die-hard PSG fan or a moneywhore. They will go to Spain or England.

Neymar will leave before his contract ends in 2022. Mbappe I am not sure, but I don't see him renewing with PSG.

FC Barcelona was there before Messi. It will be there after Messi is gone. Sure we will suffer from both sporting and financial perspective but FC Barcelona will still be attracting the creme of the top players. The same can not be said about PSG.

That is what you want to happen. You don't know for sure, hence, projecting your insecurities. What we do know is that Madrid approached Neymar this summer and he and his family said no to a move. Mbappé had a chance to join Madrid and opted for PSG. These are the facts.

Maybe things will change in a few years, who knows? But in the interim, projecting a departure is only wishful thinking on your part.

Barcelona and La Liga were an afterthought before Ronaldinho moved from PSG and Messi's ascension. What was it, 2 UCL final appearances in the 15 years prior for all of La Liga? Things change quickly.

15 years prior to what year? if you mean 2003 when Ronaldinho joined Barca, there were spanish team in the UCL final in 4 of the 5 years (from 97-98 to 01-02) including an all spanish final. Plus 2 UCL/European Cup final appearance of Barca in the first half of the 90's

Granted, I only glanced at wiki, but it reflects that Barca wasn't very prominent in the UCL before 2003. Madrid was successful, but they weren't dominant like they are now:

Also, I'm pretty sure France had a higher coefficient than Spain at one point in the 90's.

If my projection of them leaving is wishful thinking, your projection of them staying for a long time is wishful thinking too. Of course you might be able to tie them down with salaries that no other club can afford to pay. The fact of the matter is, money aside, PSG has nothing on the elite clubs. Nothing.

Any signs that PSG and Ligue 1 have become more popular with people around the world (PSG fanboys in Brazil simply because of the Brazilian connection notwithstanding) in the last couple of years? I don't see any signs. If you search Neymar it is his Madrid connection that is attracting clicks, not PSG. Yes things change quickly and there is no reason for us or La Liga to be complacent about anything or take things for granted, but still, PSG is a long way from achieving the status of those great clubs.

Pretty much every football fan I have met in real life and online (other than you and your club's fans) sneer at PSG because of their sovereign owner. Nouveau riche. Zero substance. No foresight. No vision. All you have left is money. Even Hoeness thinks your club is incompetent, haha.

- I don't have to wish, hope, or project anything because they actually play for PSG. Right now, today, and will do so for the foreseeable future.

- Your personal feelings about PSG aren't relevant. What is relevant is how Neymar, and more importantly, Mbappé and young Parisians feel about the club.

Mate, no offense, but you are insignificant. How you and your friends feel about PSG isn't really relevant. It's clear that the club is growing.

*yawn*

Joke poster and a lazy troll.

You're the only troll. How come your posting frequency drops off a cliff from March-June.

And every fall you rear your head here promising another false dawn.

Mbappe and Neymar served up nothing less than an embarrassment v Madrid. Worry about winning a KO fixture v Barca/Madrid then you might have some bragging rights here for once.

You're upset. It's ok. I get it.

You guys really, really shouldn’t be getting high and mighty with PSG and throwing crap all over Jair Ventura. Trends are obviously noticeable. Ligue 1 as a collection of clubs isn’t banking its rise on 2 stars in its epicentre. It’s should be institutional effort to halt that, because RM and Barca future success in Europe isn’t granted.
