Lol. Who gives a shit about Deschamps? Most here don't give a shit how he does with France if he plays like he's playing lately for Barcelona. Even better if he doesn't play. Less chances to get injured and fresher legs for Barcelona.
Anyway, he has stronger opposition in La Liga to test himself with, than he'd get with France playing some friendly games.

Does Dembele have the potential to be as good as Mbappe or better ? Yes I think he does. But right now Mbappe is obviously the better player. More efficient, more clinical, more mature. I'm not even a PSG fan, and I actually prefer watching Dembele, he's probably my favorite player. But Dembele is still a bit raw.
There's a reason Mbappe is valued $200 million on transfermarkt (most expensive player in the world) and Dembele is worth $80 million (ranked #20). The same reason Mbappe greatly helped his team win the World Cup while Dembele was watching from the bench.
I'm Dembele biggest fan so I definitely think he'll get there soon. He just needs to be more consistently great. He's slowly getting there in recent matches.

Dembele was up and down last year at best, mbappe was the right player to start. I think deschamps got a lot wrong and got a lot of breaks--but starting mbappe in the front 3 was a no brainer. Question would have been giroud or dembele or perhaps fekir (or if they had benzema on the squad who is frances best true 9).
