Kylian Mbappé

Great goal by Mbappe today but other than that, he was meh. Especially in the first half, not getting much service and he couldn't really dribble past Manchester United defenders and lost the ball too easily a few times.

Looks like he is more of a Henry type of player than CR7. CR7 was a great dribbler when he was younger.

Ronaldo >>>>>>> Mbappe >> CR

At 20 neither Ronaldo even sniffed a big trophy. Don't be ridiculous guys. Mbappe is a generational talent among other world class Frenchies, definitely one of the best career start ups ever. The more you downplay PSG and their players, the more emotional you get about it, the more clouded your judgment becomes.

except R9 won the Copa America at 20 and was voted best player scoring 5 goals in the tournament.

Oh, and he had that 47 goal season for Barca at 20...for which he won the Ballon d'or a few months later.

in short, the wind-up merchant gig isn't doing you so well.

Ronaldo at 20 should be compared to players like Messi or CR at their peak, not Mbappe at 20

The media and the people are stupid who say he is better than R9. Stats may favour Mbappe, but that's not all. Just go and watch him once.

But still, kudos to him for doing exceptionaly well. Guy is just 20 and is phenomenal in his own right. If Ousmane and Vinicius don't up their game this guy will have a free run for the next decade.

Neymar made an even bigger mistake moving to PSG now it seems, Messi would've stepped down in year or two & then it would've been Neymar's time, but now at PSG Mbappe will only step up and will outlive(maybe outclass) Neymar.

Most of its credit here goes to a certain humble bragger here & similar supporters in real life. Most people in general don't hate them, but they have to, so that they could stick it to him and some similar fans. Same goes for Mbappe.

Ligue 1 is a farmers league no doubt, but to say PSG is on the same level isn't correct, in fact I doubt many think that, most are just downplaying PSG because of a certain bragger who glorifies their achievements in Ligue 1. (And of course because of their financial doping, but you can't do anything about that).

They have a WC squad & a great manager, if they don't deliver CL, I think its an underachievment.

Brazilian Ronaldo was honestly Messi-tier in terms of talent imo, or at least, very close to it, Mbappe isnt there for me.
Great player though, and holy shit is he fast, United cbs didnt even know what happened at the goal, probably thought Mbappe had to be further back than that, but he run so fast.

He's still only 19 or 20 isn't he ..

The key for me is his first touch .. it's always sublime.

Imagine if we signed him instead of going for Coutinho...this guy is showing that he's already ready for being the lone striker.

Has now scored against Juventus, Man City, Man United, Dortmund, and Liverpool in European competitions. Just lead PSG’s line as a traditional 9 with no attacking partners(PSG played with 5 midfielders essentially) in an away match at Old Trafford despite missing Neymar & Cavani. Could have added another goal at least if not for de Gea being de Gea.

But yea, let’s keep discussing how good he isn’t.

Great player. Will be great watching him in La Liga in few years when he hits his prime.
