I don't know or care if it's fashionable.
But it shows many things.
If a player is constantly picked by all coaches that worked with him, but fans still fail to see why, then the problem lies with the fans.
Yes there are things many fans do not understand, and coaches understand the sport better.

You are clean making things up and next to no one has been claiming for years they dont know why Klopp picks Firmino.

He is seen for what he is and what he brings and some folk prefer other types of players and think could get more playing a different way.

Your arrogance is to think you are in the minority that see the truth and value him where most others dont.

Not talking about pundits, journalists, and commentators. Said that twice already.
I am talking about fans.

In recent history, Klopp's liverpool is one of the best sides, and is discussed by fans around the globe.
And within that discussion, Firmino is highly underrated

One could argue that's only your perception, but there are only perceptions in this discussion.

What I see is fans around the world acknowledging what Firmino brought to the table despite lower numbers. Plenty of users here rate him, hell, half of the forum wanted Barca to sign him while he was in his prime, and I have a feeling he's highly valued by the fans. I remember quite a few Madrid fans drooling over him in the past, for instance.

Might be you overrate him if think he's one of the most underrated players ever ;)

Alright Joan, if you drop 'ever' and put 'in recent times' would you be happy with it?

I think what I said was clear:
Non-Liverpool fans do not value him enough, and would rather do away with him if given an opinion.
And your reply to that is they know why Klopp picks him?
Sorry they don't. If they knew why Klopp never drops him they would not be so willing to let him go.

Now, why do you have to make it personal all the time? Why can't you discuss without ad honimem?

And if you wanna go personal, I would say you are arrogant, because you don't accept when people disagree with you, and on the contrary insist on your whatever opinion is without providing reasons or proof for it.
I have no problem with disagreement. I don't care if I am minority or not. The fact that you think I intentionally try to fashion myself as minority says it all.

I care, though, when you say X thing without any justification, just because you think it's true. Something you do often, as you almost never provide sources/proof/data for your opinions. I once told you that Understat.com does not have data for CL+Copa (sth you didn't know, and which made your whole argument collapse) and you just jumped out of the discussion without conceding that you were wrong eventually.
That's arrogance. Not being majority or minority.

I have sent you an article from 2012 that portrays the perception of the time (and the conclusion that Busi was underrated), and I can find tons others to show to you.
But you overlook that and keep repeating 'no he is not' just because you say so?

Guessing that is same nonsense.

As was said you are so taken by idea of him being under rated you are over rating him.

Im oot. Go change the world on Firmino if that is what believe needs done.

LOL
JamDAv's way of discussing and arguing points:
- 'X is true'
- No, because non-X is true for this or that reason
- 'X is true'
- Why?
- Because 'X is true'
- No, you are wrong.
- I am oot

Nice, mate.
Good luck with dealing with the 'arrogance' of your interlocutors

> Only ever considers his own positions as the truth and any deviations from that "narrow football knowledge"

Outside of goal scoring, Firmino has still been awful to average since 18/19...

I don't know what you're smoking, he's just not good any more.

When you think other folk are speaking shite why waste time arguing against it?

When folk are claiming Firimino is not valued for what he brings and is under rated they are speaking nonsense and I am oot early doors once been told.

All rather simple lads.

Nearly every other bastard week on Sky Sports or BT when Firmino was playing class, pundits would say along the lines of “Mane and Salah get the headlines but Firmino is underrated”. Like you said in other post it became a cliche to say that after a while because he was getting praised so much.

Jokes aside, a quiet night for him, for Haaland and Cristiano overall... Either they were silenced by the discipline of their opponents, or they weren't too eager to turn up for the national team (looks like they would have preferred to have a break instead)
