Unlucky for Atletico though as they are finding several great chances to score, looking much better than last week. Couldn't do anything at all about that goal though (Moya was there, but no one possibly could've anticipated that to turn into anything).

And now a Miranda volley from a Koke set piece makes it 1-1

Remarkable performance from Griezmann in the first half, must be said. One of the best in the world at linking up and making smart runs, he's been at the center of several slick passing sequences in the past 3 games. His presence in place of Raul Garcia has made Atletico into a much more vertical and intense team today rather than just booting long balls forward. 9 shots in the first half today, most were very threatening. Stark difference from recent games.


Planas doing........skills? Won a penalty by making a fool of Miranda. 2-2

Scored a 3rd set piece but just an inch offside so rightfully ruled out. Jimenez would've gotten it despite a shit performance overall from him.

Atleti draw after an insanely intense game of football. Surprisingly, they performed much better than their win against RM and had a total of 18 shots dominating the game. Alvarez had the game of his life in goal and stopped many sure goal scenarios. Griezmann was absolutely brilliant. Still ahead of RM by a point but they probably should've gotten all 3.
