Atleti are on the downturn, Madrid have the momentum now. We lost the league at home to Valencia. Madrid also have the easier schedule down the stretch. Madrid beat Atleti next week then it's over. I just hope we can use the remaining La Liga games getting ready for the CL.

Regardless of some posters exaggeration, the league is Madrids to lose. They are very consistent against lower teams which wins you trophies. If they beat Atleti and hold us to a draw or beat us then 99% they are champions unless a Mou like meltdown occurs like last season

Madrid are on a 27 game unbeaten streak. If they beat Atleti, (which they already did in the Copa) next week, I just can't see where they would drop points before the Clasico. Where as we have been hot and cold in the league.

Madrid can win the league but it's far from a destined outcome. They are on a consistent run right now, how often do you really see that from Madrid? They'll eventually go through their own rough patch and drop some points the way Barca and Atletico have since the start of the year. It's unpredictable and there's no point in making definite statements.

But Barca need to go on a 10-15 game unbeaten streak themselves from here on out. And not drop silly points to Levante's away or Valencia's at home...and with are fixtures down the stretch looks very hard to do.

it's not a matter of how you are seeing things, it's a matter of being logical and rational, there is still 13 games in la Liga and only 3 points difference between the top 3, there is no way, we can already make speculative assumptions.

Lots of things can happen, injury, bad games, referee mistakes, form attenuation, too much variables to prematurely proclaim a winner.

Barca are only 3 points behind with 13 games to go, why are people giving in already? The league is not over, not even close and we didn't lose it at home to Valencia either.

Real will have a bad run at some point and we can beat them in Madrid.

Exactly. 3 points is a small margin . It's also not unfeasible to suggest Madrid could hit a poor run of form, similar to ours.

Thank you Osasuna, thank you Diego! :worthy:

Now Simeone please don't start Diego next week, let's beat Real Madrid, for once this season!

Athletico beat them at their home, although it was at the start of the season.

True. Not trying to pressurize or anything but classico is the only match where real can surely drop points if they dont lose to athletico. The matches they have except these are very easy imo.And barca has villareal away for one tough match except real and athletico ones.Real dont have any.

They could drop points away to Malaga, Sevilla, Real Sociedad, Celta Vigo.
