Madrid WILL lose three points at least by the end. However, the performance yesterday from Barca was the worst I have seen for a really long time. The team was so bad. And they have been shitty for a little while now outside of Man City. Hopefully it's a wake up call, otherwise no chance.

Yesterday's loss, like Valencia and Levante was not on the defense in my opinion except shit like Bartra pulled. Although I have long been critical of both CB, especially Bartra, the way the team gives up ball without support and in the middle so often lately puts the defense in an unfair position.

How is Real Madrid's record against Sociedad at Anoeta, out of curiosity?

Not sure but last season the list at Malaga , drew 3-3 at the Anoeta and only beat Celta Vigo 2-1 with a late goal.

Oh they also lost at Sevilla.

Let's hope AM do us a big favour next weekend and we all go level on 63 points.

In their last 3 encounters;

2 wins(0-1, 1-2) 1 draw(3-3)

Not mindblowing figures tbh if you look at both the wins which ended up with a one goal difference only.

Thanks Kerry and DonAK. Meanwhile we last won at Anoeta in 2007 when Rijkaard was the coach. 7 years ago. This is just so sad.

Yeah it's a bogey ground for us bit who cares if we manage to win the league. All we can do now is focus on Almeria. Let's hope the team gives a big response next weekend.

So apparently we won't reach 100 points even if we win all 13 remaining games. Is the La Liga becoming more competitive, or are we weaker nowadays?

Actually, many of the smaller teams are weaker, hence why getting to 100 points happened the past 2 seasons. But rm and atletico are stronger this season, compared to the last.

Last year we were better minnow slayers and the weaker teams in the league bent over for us very easily. This year we're better against top teams but there are some smaller teams that either try to over-park the bus against us or play their hearts out.

Yup. Plus Messi was in the form of his life in that first half of the season, before he got injured. Our first loss came in February. Two total losses for the campaign. I don't think the players gets enough credit for the league campaign of last season. It always gets overshadowed by 0-7 loss to Bayern.

The argument that Real is bound to lose points is reassuring only under the assumption that Barcelona not drop points again. At this point I'd say that is unlikely, which is why we have a legitimate reason to be concerned. Sure, Real will drop points. The question is: who will drop more, us or them? Therein lies the key to winning the league.

That's why Barca now need to go on an unbeaten run. Can they do it? Sure. Will they? very difficult. It also depends how far we go in the CL as well. The further we progress, more rotations will be needed.

Sadly, Real Madrid is in the front seat now. If we don't win at Bernabeu, we're out IMO, especially if Madrid wins on Calderon.

Well if AM beat them then things should be a level at 63 points. In the scenario I would take a draw at Madrid.
