Just watch video. He once was holding Todibo on the back, and that was all. If other plazers were looking for Lukaku thez would not score that goal.

I have seen it and watched the game.

Todibo played well but he was not burning Lautaro for pace even though will be quicker.

in this clip you could see the pro's i've already mentioned in previous post what would lautaro bring:
constant harassment of a cb. there were only couple of clips where you couldnt see lautaro near todibo, always lurking and pressing. he made an assist while in duel with todibo. todibo was always on the close margins of making a foul in danger free kick areas that were sometimes overlooked by referee.
In this game, todibo played with a relaxed approach, a non competitive game where mistakes would not be that costly, while inter were on make or break. Im not taking anything from todibo, i think he is a great young prospect, but so is lautaro.

11 goals in serie-a a shit stat?

griezmann: liga app 26 - goals 8: champions league app 7- goals 2
suarez: liga app 17 - goals 11: champions league app 5 - goals 3
lautaro: liga app 22 - goals 11: champions league app 6 - goals 5

so he played 6 games in cl, he scored 3 goals against us and dortmund and 2 against slavia.
in liga, he scored against juventus, milan, atalanta, napoli.

griezmann scored against dortmund and napoli in cl
in liga against no one relevant

suarez scored in cl against inter and dortmund
in liga against sevilla and valencia.

conclusion:
a 22 year old player scored against barcelona, borussia dortmund, juventus, napoli, milan, atalanta in the same season is not a shit striker or overrated one

I feel like this is the logic that Barca uses before they decide to splash 100 million on flops. Lautaro is not physically impressive at 22 and he's even a bit slow, in the best season of his career he's having the same numbers as 33 year old Suarez who has been injured since early January

Also why does anyone think that this time it will work to splash 100 million on someone and then play them out of position?

IMO the only ones costing 100M should be clear world class players. Coutinho was overpriced but borderline OK considering he was one of PL's best players.

Today players I'd pay 100M+ for are Man?, Bernardo Silva and Kane amongst others. Lautaro isn't even close to this bracket of players. Of the 111M, we are paying like 70M for his alleged potential.

You go girl, but dont forget that cl gs was over in december and that this slow bloke scored more then our two forwards together. Let that sink in.

And yeah, im against 100+m. Is he good? He is. Would it be ok to have him? Indeed. Is he a upgrade in our attack? Fucking braithwaite is an upgrade. Should we pay 100+m? No.

Clearer?

100+m for Kane?

You can say that Jesus plays in a more attacking team.

Well, we will take for comparison player Lazio.

Lazio is stylistically similar to Inter.

They have the same percentage of possession.

They also play according to the scheme 3 - 5 - 2.

They also use in front of large and small forwards (Ciro Immobile / Lautaro + Felipe Caicedo / Lukaku).

Let's compare Lautaro and Immobile.

I can provide more statistics that show that Lautaro is overrated.

But I'm sure that our idiots will buy him for 100 + millions.

Now thats a comparison i can take in consideration. Good post.
Now..
Would lautaro add something to our team? I think yes.
Is he worth 100m? No. And for me thats it.
The thing is, i kinda think that if werner comes suarez would not accept that super sub role, with lautaro is different story. South american, messi fellow countryman, let the kid play. Thats my opinion, i think that lautaro would integrate faster
