Lautaro Martinez

Good point. Where do you get this statistics, can you provide link.
TBH I don't need to see this graphs and things to see that Lautaro is not that good. He is not good one vs one, okay strong but not tall, his link up play is nothing better then Griezmanns, clearly he is not fast , Todibo killed him on open space.

Maybe it is just me but if you are really World Class you need to have something extra ordinary and this guy does not have anything of these.

When you buy Werner you now he is faster then any defender in the world. He scored in last 3 seasons about 90 goals and he was playing every game last few seasons.
I can't compare G.Jesus to Lautaro he is so much better then him.

So lets sum up Lautaro.

Scored about 30-40 goals in entire carrier. He lacks everything that I already mentioned. In his best season he scored 12 goals in 22 matches.

Fu*k me if this guy is worth more then 50 mill at max.
He is slow when he is 22 years old. Don't compare him to Aguero who was much faster and agile when he was younger.

You can buy Werner,Haaland,G.Jesus or someone else and you are stuck like idiot for this guy .NEIGHTER then statitics show that he will good neither pure vision.

Lautoro cannot be called slow but he is definitely not a fast player. Average speed.

Why should we pay 111 million euros for a player who is worse than Immobile?

When will we stop making stupid decisions?

Lautaro is fast enough. I'm more worried about his height. I'm tired of us being crap at dominating the box in the air. It's almost as if we don't count at all at this chapter.

From what I have seen he looks aggressive in attacking ball in box and times it well.

Barca are never going to suit a big target man type either.

His finishing doesnt look the smoothest would be one thing seems to stand out for him at moment that needs to improve.

Barca are not paying 111m for him regrdless.

Yes. I think almost every Barca fan would agree that Lautaro does not deserve a price tag of 111 mil. I will say that his real value is not more than 45 -50 mil. But, the market in the last 6-7 years is really crazy. I hope this corona virus situation will change many things in our life and all this unreal price tags of professional athletes will drop down significantly.
That said, the only way to get rid of Griezmann and his huge salary will be the swap deal. We already know that Griz has played at all front-line position and could not find his place. Lets hope that Lautaro as a team-mate of Messi from the Argentine national team will succeed.

Well Lautaro is good on headers. He is good jumper although he is not tall.

Lets hope they will give them 50 mil plus Semedo and Alena/Vidal.

Something like that.

For 100 mil I would rather take Brazillian rat and play with Griezmann on no.9 or Suarez.

There is no Lewandowski available.

A technical, taller striker that's great at most things. People that mention Werner a lot because of his height have obviously not watched him play a lot. He's not the type of physical player that will bully defenders and win headers.

Height ≠Physicality.

I have my concerns about Lautaro related to his price, but I wouldn't hate his signing if they can do a more reasonable deal.

Even Haaland while being tenacious, is so far, not that good with his back to the goal.

Furthermore, you cannot compare Werner, Haaland, Lautaro or Gabriel Jesus. They're all different type of forwards. Lautaro and Jesus are probably the most comparable players of the bunch.

It's not a jigsaw puzzle where you simply replace a piece with another. They're used differently, have different strengths. Depends on what type of player Barca want. If they want someone that can harass the defenders with great movement, pressing, that is able to link up well with his team mates and is able to dribble efficiently enough similarly to Suarez then your best choices in this transfer market are Lautaro Martinez and Gabriel Jesus.

If you sign Werner you have to play him more like an inside forward and give him some freedom to roam to find space where he can use his pace.

Truth be told none of them are perfect and would be a bad fit for the current Barca team one way or another.

Who the fu*k thinks Werner is physical player?

Well if they pay 50mil and get rid off to players that we don't need...It is not bad.

Every day I think more about Semedo in deal for Lautaro...I think it is bad idea concidering we can't find anyone better.
Also his price will be valued less then in solo transfer.

If we pay 111M for this guy then I'll go mad.

I compared his stats to Aguero's and I don't know if Aguero was VERY good or if Lautaro has had a slow start to his career.
I'm comparing Aguero at Atleti and Lautaro at Inter, before making the big move. Lautaro is 23 this year, Aguero also left Atleti when 23.

Atleti Aguero: 234 games, 101 goals, 0,43 per game
Inter Lautaro: 66 games, 25 goals, 0,38 per game

It's actually insane how little experience Lautaro has compared to Sergio. In total he has 126 career club games so far as a 23 year old. Aguero had 290 before leaving for City for 40M. Compared to 10 years ago 40M'd be worth what today, 80M? And we're paying another 30M on top of that for an even worse player.
