The question barca fans need to ask themselves is if its worth to lose all tactical capabilities in the team for two/three moments of messi magic? Is that worth the sacrifice? It will still probably work in LL but expect another smashing in UCL if messi drops deep.

The question you need to ask yourself, Ritchie, is: Do we have such a good team that Messi is the problem and is pulling us back? Are we Liverpool from the last two seasons without Messi?

We wouldn't have lost 8-2 with Coutinho or Griezmann instead of Messi? Are we suddenly in contention for the CL if Messi is out of the squad?

For better or worse,this will probably be the last season of his historic career on the club,he should not leave a bad taste on everyone’s mouth.

Can’t really blame him for being mad,but many players throughout history wanted to leave their teams and it was denied.He should give his 100%,both physically and mentally.

He won't be if koeman k ows what he's doing and Messi is on board. Koeman needs the balls and backing and I'm sure Messi will understand that sometimes he might need to come off or not play for tactical reasons as well, if he doesn't then you sell him. Unfortunately this board has single handily destroyed this club from the inside so relying on them in any capacity is a grave mistake.
