This "need to remain competitive while rebuilding" shit has cost us. We need a new approach. Just create a young squad and let them evolve. As long as we try to mix and match we will fail.

People are getting so overboard with this ''young'' thing.I mean,if we would have had some incredible youngsters in our ranks, tthat would be aweosme, but do we?Apart 2 or 3,i don t see any of them being the required level to start at Barca.

I really can't see that required level being so high. This is a statement from entitlement. We are a midtable team without Messi and with Messi we can't be a top team any more, because of his age. So, all we need is above midtable players to be better. We can get some of those if we sell out every single one of the older ones.

Why do you think that young guys will make it?

Imagine if we sold oldies 3-4 seasons ago and relied on Gomes, Denis, Digne, Paco, Semedo, Arthur, Alena, Dembele, Malcom?

We would be playing Uefa cup against Russian and Czech teams all the time.

Getting rid of oldies is a must.

But expecting too much from these kids is also borderline insanity and delusion.

Teams are built as a mix of good young players and good proven players.

More or less, we don't have any.

Just a ton of Uefa cup level players.

I am not saying we should have done that 4 season ago.
And my expectations would be above midtable. I think the guys you mentioned could achieve that.

The perfect formula is obviously established players + youngsters. If you completely rely on youngsters, there's the risk of spending 5 years waiting for them to develop into the player you expect them to be based on their current ability, only for them to not improve at all or worse, regress. That is what's happening to United's front-line right now, 6 years wasted on Martial and Rashford and now they're toothless in their attack; they'll have to spend money, again, if they want to compete. It is what's happening with us right now with Dembele.

With our scouting, it's just way too risky to depend on solely youngsters. Unfortunately we wasted 400m on 3 useless players so it's not like we have a choice I guess.

Our young signings in the last few years, bar Frenkie, are on the level of Milan, Roma or Everton.

Dembele, Malcom, Denis, Gomes, Digne, Firpo, Dest, Paco etc

Dembele hasn't improved 1 bit in 4 years.
Malcom scored 1 goal from 48 shots this season in Russia.

Imagine if we relied on those guys and waited 4-5 years on them.

Also, there is a psychological problem in fans' brains where the current youngsters always look more promising than the ones who already failed.

If you'll ask a majority, they will say that Pedri, Puig, Trincao, Dest look more promising than Digne, Firpo, Denis, Gomes, Dembele, Malcom.

When they'll fail, new kids in two years will again look better than the current crop, lol.

Anyway, we suck on all levels.

I know Coutinho is your darling, but please include him on that list. He deserves the top spot as well. Just looks less biased.

12/13 against the best Real Madrid in the last decade our team was really bad and a lot of injuries... we won the league thanks to messi alone

When he was young and at his best nothing could stopped him....

It?s funny and stupid to ask this version of messi at this age to do miracles by himself alone ...

With a good side like city or psg .. he will win the triple

Anyway I really hope he move to city

So, you say shipping Messi, Pique, Busi, Alba right?
And you wanna see youngsters like Dest, Pedri, Fati play?

So you want what Koeman has started already to continue

Yes.
Puig is the one who stands out out of all these names.
Digne, Paco, Denis were always going to be decent backup options for Barcelona, as is probably the case with Dest and Trincao.
Firpo, Dembele, Gomes I ruled out the first game I saw them.
Pedri I am still not so sure about, I think he is possibly developing bad habits by getting to play so much so early. He is obviously not there yet to play as a midfielder for a top club.

Well with this scouts who wanted Griezmann and Coutinho you cant make shit.

Our only hope is that Laporta wins, and signs Zorc from BVB as director to scout players or at least Overmars.
This current idiots who signed those two for 300 million should be jailed for a long time.

Dembele was young, great talent that could have great future. He was with Mbappe (wanted to Real Madrid) onlz realistic big name talent that could be something like half of Neymar.
I am not so mad on his transfer, because there was some logic in it.

But Lenglet,Firpo,Malcom X,Trincao,Paco,Gomes are way level bellow of Barca. So untalented.

Also signing coaches like Valverde,Setienand Koeman is noob move. We need coach with personalty like Bielsa,Kloop or Guardiola.
Not pussy that will plaz Bisquit and Shakira every game.
