Lionel Messi - v7

At this point,if a 34 year old Messi can lead this team to another League title,we should be even more grateful and proud for his achievements.

(that's a big IF though)

That said, the days of being decisive in crucial UCL matches or Classicos are indeed long gone, but you have to lower your expectations. The man is almost 34 years old ffs. Seeing Mbappe feast on our defense the other night really made me realize that Leo's golden days are gone, but THAT'S OK. Despite the recent bad years and the missed opportunities for even more silverware and glory, he has had a wonderful career and has given to every Cule so much joy all these years.

Let's hope that even if he leaves,he will lead us to one last La Liga

Go on keep on complaining about the goat when Lenglet and Umtiti give free goals every game dawgs

Doesn't matter what the defense is like, what he's currently offering the team isn't worth 100m~ a season. It just isn't. I love him and want him to stay, but his salary is fucking ridiculous mate.

Even I and most of his defenders don't want him to stay next season. The money situation is only a part of it.
But the team has not had a clean sheet for ever
You can't expect to score all the time. Forwards are always the ones who have a space for error. Defenders have no space for it. And out problems derive from the backline.

another day, another sitter missed, job done

Haha, you are a bit stupid, aren't you? When you had Griezzman,Lenglet,Dumbele, you pick on Messi, who did scored a goal?He is a goner, and we will be left with Trincao,Demebele and Griezmann, that is gonna be fun.

Agreed, defensive line is a disaster. Honestly I'm speechless at just how bad we are right now.

Genuine question where do you think this 100m a year salary will be spent? Another lenglet, Griezmann, Coutinho, Dembele. If the board said right now, we're getting rid of Messi to buy Haaland I'd be all ears, never going to happen though.

Cadiz would finish a long way third in SPL and be bottom of EPL by a long way. Horrific quality side and Barca couldnt must a goal in open play.

The past couple games should be Barca career ender for vast majority of squad but it would be.

This "need to remain competitive while rebuilding" shit has cost us. We need a new approach. Just create a young squad and let them evolve. As long as we try to mix and match we will fail.
