He should stay with Barca. There is no honor with that plastic club in a farmers league.
I think he will stay. When push comes to shove he cant leave easily due to his family.

No joke don't offer him more then 50M. He still would be the best paid Player in the World by a huge Margin but his 150M Salary is silly

150M is really way too high
He should be offered whatever value he holds commercially and sporting wise. Commercially he's top 3 players. Sporting wise with him we're highly likely to challenge for la liga all the way + copa, UCL needs more reinforcements, as long as we don't choke the group stages we get to 1/4 final. Doubt we're getting further without heavy investment or a lucky draw.

it's ronaldo, messi and neymar for top three when it comes to commercial revenue. but messi is the only one who still plays football on a regular basis and is also attached to one of the biggest brands in football -fc barcelona. impossible to find such a combo on the market right now.
Yup, there's 0 doubt in my head that he's beneficial for us in terms of income, even on current wages.

no way 34 year old messi should get anything over like 15 mil/season. we need to restabilize this clubs finances, not give it all away to an aged player

He wasnt injured, he had a mentally break down i think. He looked chubby that season and didnt aguero said that messi wanted to leave barca in 2014 as he wasnt happy there. Even though Messi was immense in 2015 his copa america wasnt good that year. His by far best international performance was 2016 when he looked unplayable, that was his best chance to win the tournament.
