Lionel Messi - v7

Lionel should focus more on how to optimize the pressure with the team. One of the advantages of an effective pressing is to slow down the opponent's attack and enable your defence to get back in shape and better organization.
Brazil is already good at it; Argentina should improve.

Also, they need more runners in attack. It's no brainer that putting Correa at the left wing instead of Ocampos will offer better solutions to break the opponent's defence.
Leo as a creator will have more passing lanes and options to use his large vision/playmaking in a more deadly way :

Well you can also looses EPL matches when you were clearly better and this matches could deciding the title in the end. For example when we lost against granada or draw vs cadiz. The team who has the the least 'unlucky' losses wins the title.

That is true with close titles but alot of titles are won by a good few points. I'll agree the champions league is harder to win because you can be knocked out so easily but usually the best teams win the league. Most times you hear people saying that team deserved the league title and they played some of the best football in Europe whereas alot of time you hear people say that team were OK but they won the champions league

CL is more valuable than any league title in any era. I know the level of CL is not very impressive these days but for most of the 00s and 2010s you had to beat at least one truly great team to win the CL.

Even in this day and age, its absolutely outragous to value a PL-title over a CL-title.

That would be true if it was an actual league of the best in Europe but its a knockout Cup. 5 minutes of bad luck and you're out and it can be that way many years in a row

You can repeat that as much as you like, doesnt make any difference, CL is the biggest trophy and the hardest one to win.

Imagine actually valuing a league trophy over a CL, holy shit!

Seeing this cl i dont remember a team which was kicked out unfairly, it can happen but its rare

Not unfairly but unluckily or they were the best team in the tie but a lucky goal knocked them out. Alot of average performing teams in a season have won the champions league or got to the final

If Wijnaldum ends up at PSG, I'd say the chances of Messi staying are slipping. Reports said he appreciated the signing.

Not for that, but Leo is surely losing faith in Laporta and this supposed project if they can't even close a deal on Wijnaldum.

I think Messi knows what awaits for him if he stays. We have no money to have important signings, Isn't QSG interested in Ronaldo too?

Nah, Juve want him out but nobody is interested yet. If Mbappe leaves and Messi stays, then PSG might try to sign him.
