He owes us zero

Brady left
Lebron is always ring chasing
Ronaldo left

Time for him to do the same,he tried his best and the board failed him.

As much as I want him here, think there's no chance of UCL next years. This will hurt a lot but if he still want a chance of that trophy he should go somewhere else...we must be realistic. When I see how Bayern board remade the team after Robben,Ribery went away...maaaan

The rebuilding sounds nice and all but I don?t want to give Messi up. Barcelona comes first but we have the best player in history and I don?t want him to leave like this.

he'll stay , let's be serious here , he still wants to beat Pele's record. After that he might leave , who knows .

Anyways if there was a time for him to leave , it was like 3 years ago. Dude would have had more trophies by now.

It's really sad, even I've literally lost so much interest in this team. Never felt this way in a long time. After that Pjanic deal, I'm so done with it. I believe Messi is extremely frustrated to his breaking point and losing interest. Unfortunately, as most have predicted that Barca would go down one day, and Messi's legacy has already been ruined. He's been wanting a Champions league in his last years just as much as a world cup; I just cannot believe having a player like Messi we still struggle every year. Absolute shambles.

He is not a victim, he is at least as much a victim as he is blameworthy:
He is part of the player power that has ravaged the effectiveness of the team on the pitch.
He has exercised his power dictating where and how much he plays
He has exercised his power dictating who must be on the pitch alongside him (ex Suarez)
He has exercised his power ordering what players should be transferred in and out
He has failed to respect coaches' instructions and orders

yes, his 18/19 UCL campaign was one of the best individual performances ever seen: he almost got the team to the final just by himself.
Guess what? That was not enough. Football has changed. Even the best player ever cannot by himself win the most competitive titles.
Read Louis van Gaal and what he said about Messi last summer.

Disrespect for the collective nature of the sport has consequences...
Disrespect for the importance of coach and hard work has consequences...
No, he is not a victim! He made the bed where he is currently lying in!

Nobody wants to lose Messi if we can find a way to make him listen and stop interfering in a negative way. But if not, between Messi being a leader at 35 and doing whatever he wants, and us cutting him and rebuilding, I'm all for rebuilding.

I laugh at some of the posts about rebuilding. I'll tell you this, good luck with that under this board. We have to hope the next board/coaching staff are competent as they are not going to have a messi to bail them out.

I think we messed up by giving messi captaincy. Hes not really a leader by nature and the dude is under insane preassure allready from being the best player ever.

Somebody else should have carried the burden as captain. Messi should just focus on doing what he do best.

Who? There are no leaders in this team.

Watching 2009 Real Madrid vs Barcelona 2-6 game. We used to do a lot of long balls, opponent couldn't say what was our next move. It could be nice passes, long ball etc. So many options. We even tried some long shots (Eto'o for example). We played football so much faster than today. Today's team is so slow and obvious.

BTW, in this game so far Abidal looks like a huge liability, if he was Roberto or Semedo he would be trashed to pieces. All the Real attacks are coming from his side. He can't defend to save his life.

Today, only thing we can do is to hold on to a ball and hope Messi creates magic. So predictable and easy to stop, especially if we need a late goal or so.
