Lionel Messi - v7

Barçapocalypse NOW!
You don’t know that. Nobody does. We barely know his true level these days considering how he’s been surrounded by crap players while being coached by an absolute nobody.

Stop making excuses for him... Why wouldn't he be able to show his true level here where every single one of his wishes is granted? Also, Inter's squad isn't full of world beaters either so it's not like a huge improvement over us... The only point would be having a real coach, and if you look at today's football, no real coach will have a player slacking off the ball, and that is way too much for Messi to get accustomed to...

Didn't he show it last season? He and Vidal were probably the only players at Anfield that were decent.

Zero chance Barca let Messi got to PSG for free even with one year left.

They would not sell to them or ask for close to 100m would be my guess.

A price they might be willing to pay, anyway. Messi to Ligue 1 would be like Ronaldo to Serie A, but with even greater consequences as Ligue 1 has never been a very popular league to watch.

Imagine him leaving and us not being able to sell any of other amigos

No chance. I'm willing to bet that a big reason other amigos are staying is because he vouched for them. Without Messi there is no one disturbing the coach or the board from making squad selections.

Not to PSG unless huge fee that benefits club. Even then I doubt Barca deal with them unless it means Ney coming back other way which wouldnt happen.

I got very sad during the bayern match after the 7-2 fuck up that this might be his last match for us.
I always wanted Messi to leave like Xavi.
Not in a madridista Raul/Casillas way.

Perfect scenario: Messi puts pressure on Barto and he resigns. New board makes a deal with Leo for 2 years, for smaller salary and as soon that's done proceeds to ship Pique, Suarez, Alba, Rakitić and Vidal away.

That remains to be seen.

Could easily see board just resigning and letting next board deal with amigos who stay another season.

Rather than be seen to piss of Messi to leave.

I doubt Messi at 33 really wants to go to a new league but will have to wait and see.

I believe he has Italian blood in him, plus the league fits him well. I can see him going there
