my guess: the board finally realize club de amigos isn't working and are putting news out there that players are no longer safe, Messi is unhappy with this and launching a war on the board (expect his fellow amigos to back him up)

I feel this way too, let's see how the next week or two play out. Changes need to be made quickly since next season is starting September 12th. New board accepting Messi's demands will make Bartomeu the winner out of all of this. Hilarious really, this entire forum blaming him for everything in the past five years only for him to be made out the victim

I just don’t see how he could realistically not think it’s them to blame for the result though. He blamed themselves for Roma and Liverpool so no way he thinks they’re not part of the problem when they lost 8-2 imo, there’s no defending that team now. Hopefully this is a threat to the board so they resign and he’s willing to be part of new project.

It will pan out with board gone and Messi/amigos here for another season.

Messi calls for elections now and there will not be massive clear out and players will refuse to leave before new board in and another season of same shit.
