Lucho isn't blame free regarding the current state of the team. Season after the treble his next signings were Arda Turan, aleix Vidal, Andre gomes, Paco alcacer and Lucas digne. None of them had any impact.

Lucho was just luckier than his predecessor and succesor. Inherited a team still in prime shape and the greatest attacking trident to play the game.

Hahahahha I just realised that lucho signings were fking aweful. I think lucho was also the reason we signed Rakitic , or am I wrong?

He did make the rakitic signing when he arrived, along with Suarez. Rakitic was a good signing though at the time, people forget how good he was in the treble season. Problem is his legs were gone after that season after working so hard.

All 11 players played a part in the loss, an 8-2 is not something that just happens. Like it or not Messi was the captain and hence the leader of the team that got battered worse than any other team in modern CL history. If you don't think this loss will have an effect on his legacy then you are sadly wrong.

He proved time and time again why he is the best. He has enough of a legacy as it is. Anything more ia just bonus.
I've always said that he's no leader. He's a shy, introverted person who had to be captain because others thought it's a good idea. Should have never happened. He needs a Ramos or Puyol as captain and he can focus on his football. But now there's no going back in that so it is what it is.

Lucho had nothing to do with the Suarez signing. That was set in motion after Man City refused to sell Aguero.

He didn't sign suarez. Suarez was signed way before his appointment.

I just realising now that Lucho lowkey started the whole downfall with his stupid signings

He vetoed Kroos to get Rakitic.

Awful decision.

Coaches trying to be scouts rarely ends well. See Pep and Chygrynskiy, Ibra, Cesc etc.

Its not that one. This was one was in the BBQ era under Tata against Atletico.

Pinto ran 5.3 km
Messi ran 6.8km

That's what I said. That one happened 6 years ago.

He also walked his way to a 4-0 defeat at the Allianz the year before that.

Kroos is a better player than rakitic individually, but rakitic was perfect for what the team needed at the time and bought balance to right side along with Messi and Dani. Basically doing a water carrier role, something kroos wouldn't be able to do.

Yes, Rakitic was a very good signing at that price for that role in 2015. The problem is he overstayed his welcome.
