give or take :

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Lionel Messi's father 'is already in Manchester negotiating with City' <a href="https://t.co/JMghqsegGE">https://t.co/JMghqsegGE</a> <a href="https://t.co/a6L9EbhZpQ">pic.twitter.com/a6L9EbhZpQ</a></p>— MailOnline Sport (@MailSport) <a href="https://twitter.com/MailSport/status/1298646410884190208?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 26, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Should read.

Breaking news: Messi father speaks his first ever coherent sentence.

with him going to training, I suspect the more spot light this gets the more difficult it is for Messi to go back on his own fax given the vanity and pride surrounding someone with his stature.

The only thing Barca can seem to salvage is a hefty transfer fee which is hanging on a thread of the technicality of when the season ended.

Jeez a lot of people here are in the denial stage huh. Can you seriously imagine him staying after all this? He's gone guys, cope with it.

Not convinced in any direction. If football taught me anything, it's that Schroedinger's cat lives in conclusions from transfer stories. Messi is gone and not gone. Anything seemingly certain can change completely within a span of a day, hour, minutes, and in the end all you're left with is the disbelief of how shitty football media are (and how fickle players' plans can be) and that you fell for it either way again.

There's a 0% chance he leaves.

Quote me, Save it for the archives you will see soon enough it will be my last post on this thread until I'm validated.

Messi will stay at FC Barcelona. That simple

Quality over quantity mate.

You were on form yesterday hitting all the high notes, but now you're in here spamming 10 posts per minute with disgustingly weak and boring material.

What a fall from grace. Take a break and come back better.

Article 17 ==> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webst... it states that any,is shortened to two years.

I don't think the 700M is what they are talking about, rather than is he going to pay the next year salary before moving or not

if of course everything we heard about him wanting to leave is true.

I feel like there is a huge paradox in both the media and with some members on this forum at the moment, with the club being totally blamed for this and Messi is being treated like a saint. I really don't think that's accurate. The board are awful, terrible, horrific - they need to go ASAP, nobody can dispute that. But the reason the club is underperforming is because the first eleven is full of players like Suarez, Alba, Vidal, and Rakitic. Messi doesn't want us to get rid of his friends, but at the same time he wants a winning project...so what exactly are the club supposed to do? There are no players you can bring in that would win the Champions League whilst the aforementioned players are in the first 11, they simply aren't good enough to compete at the highest level. If Messi is too blind to recognise that, then it's his own fault.

He's sabotaged his own chances of winning the CL in the past few years by backing mediocre players and a weak manager who enabled those players. Yes, the board are mostly to blame, but he needs to take some responsibility too.
