Doing us a solid even when leaving. Hopefully barto just doesn't spend it stupidily like he usually does.

I don't trust barto but i trust Messi if it's possible he will throw as a last gift as much as he can from Oil money.

But barto will get some Eredivisie "stars" to follow Koeman "project" & here we go for a shit show.

Give or take :

Messi's departure will be similar to Cristiano's at Real Madrid. There will be a friendly pact between the club and the player. Messi wants to make sure that Bar?a will obtain money for his transfer. His signing will be around 150 million euros. Conversations between Ferran Soriano and Lionel Messi began after Bayern Munich's 8-2 win against Barcelona - it was Messi himself who started it. Messi will not leave Barcelona without compensating the club and Barcelona would be willing to negotiate his signing for a fee smaller than 700 million euros. [Veronica Brunati]

Next week, a delegation from Manchester City will travel to Barcelona to talk to Messi and his family. [ole]

Think this is going to be done by the end of next week barring some major turnaround/intervention.

If true, then applaud Messi willingness to strengthen his future UCL opponent against Man City.

Another Messi paradox like grooming Suarez and amigos and wanting to win UCL at the same time.

This is about to get ugly. Bartomeu is about to play dirty.

Of course he has to say that, if for nothing else but to pacify the socis and the local fans in Barcelona. He can't publicly appear to be willing to even think about letting Messi leave, they would lynch him if he does so.

Privately, Bartomeu needs to be realistic and finds a solution that is best for the club.

Martin Souto @tycsports

"I have the information, he is preparing in a special way from the physical aspect to be able to give, both to his club which will surely be Manchester City and the national team, a little more than what he has already given, which is a lot"

Unreal, we're not worthy. Messi 3.0 is coming to storm the Premier League.

only 150m. Yikes. better than his initial offer/demand to leave for free.

Man City forum is probably going nuts right now.

I don't believe we would even be close to those figures. City's revenues took a hit just like ours and everyone else's, I don't think they have 100-150m to spend on Messi. Even if they did, wouldn't that be breaking FFP, if they don't sell some players? I don't understand.

This will be an undeserving end to the Messi era. He should have one more farewell year. Barca will not feel the same without him on the squad and this also the nail in the coffin for our golden generation.
